| A few anime that come to mine are. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Thought it was going to be all insert characters and filled with clichés and poorly done comedic moments. Lol, yeah, got proved wrong real fast. Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou. Thought it would be a lot more funny, enjoyable and refreshing than what it was. Aoi Hana. Expected it to be a lot different than it was. It's not necessarily bad just wasn't what I was thinking I would be. Heaven's Memo Pad. Expected something a lot more engaging and interesting. It really wasn't either of those things particularly. |

| I went into Date a Live expecting the worst but I enjoyed it a lot. Thinking back, it was kinda stupid but that doesn't mean it can't be fun xD Also Nichijou. The first time I watched it, I only watched up until the third episode, but three episodes by far is not enough time to get used to the humor Nichijou uses. I gave it a second chance, and I still go back to watch the clips of the funniest parts. Macross Frontier, I basically watched it for the music and the music alone, but I might watch more mecha knowing it's not all the same laser shooting scenes. I guess one of the series where my expectations weren't met was Kuroshitsuji. A good portion of friends liked the series, but I found it very depressing and layer upon layer of unfortunate events. Maybe I should check the manga out instead.. |
