| This is something that has bugged me for quite a time now. Why is it that everybody in the band of the hawk loves Griffith so much? He is admired, respected, and loved by everybody, and yes, I remember the fact that he saved several of the men in the band, but I can't find the reason for his charisma. From the very beginning (especially in the manga) he is shown as being rather selfish and "dettached", so even if he is the leader and all, he does not risk his life throwing himself into battle like Guts, nor cares for his soldiers like Casca, nor is noble like Judeau, not even funny like Corcus. I guess it is me, but if I were in the band I am quite sure I'd rather fall for Guts. Thanks for sharing your views. ;-) |

| I think because most of the members of the hawk were all outcasts/were in a horrible situation/wanted to die and griffith gave them a reason to live. Casca was about to get raped and learnt to fight for herself because of griffith. Guts wanted to die but griffith gave him a reason to live. |

| Well its because hes like an angel I suppose, he leads them into unwinnable battles and has a near perfect outcome, everything always usually goes to his plan...well usually. Off topic but everytime I hear or see his name I just think of... |
| because everyone couldn't realise or make their own dreams come true so they clinged on to his dream so they can try to have a purpose in life. |
