Faculty scene - Bunmei kissing the floor again

Damn! that Dumpling haired girl

I was so happy that Akari notice it was his Father who was in a Santa suit,
(this was like a mild Shintei story)

Ok so... Like some people already mentioned: The episode was great by itself, very emotional.

But since this isn't a 20+ episodes series, I don't think they should waste so much time on filler episodes for us to understand the main character a little better. I mean that's ok and it works wonders with animes with a lot of episodes, but with One-season-only anime series like Occult Gakuin it will only interfere with the main plot and make it look rushed. I mean how come they forget something so important as the Nostradamus Key, the only thing that can save the world from destruction? >_>

This. If the show were 24 episodes, the pacing would be terrific (assuming they can take 14 episodes devoted to just the key, which I think is possible). But with only 2 episodes left I have no idea how theyr'e going to fit all in.

I quite enjoyed this episode. I thought the standard had been slipping up until now, and this brought it back up. I liked the scene of Akari-chan's departure, and thought they executed it well, and the scene where Maya was crying also looks good. Next episode's looking interesting, but I wonder on how they plan on closing it up so close to the end when this is the first time since the first few eps that I see them having any real motivation about Nostradamus' key. :\

I loved the score for the last two episodes creepy haunting variations on "jingle bells." I thought the director showed a lot of skill with the emotional content of this mini-arc.

Awesome music in this anime is awesome, especially during the party and Maya remember, and of course La Campanella XD. I thought this was a pretty good episode emotionally - the scene with Akari leaving was well done. I liked Maya remembering her past and her old house, and looks like it's back to the main plot
Lol at the two girls fighting over Bunmei XD
What's with that preview? D: Maya dies?

most realistic crying I've heard in a long time.

QFT.

This arc in the anime would have made a great (if absolutely tragic) movie. I wonder who Mikaze and the Vice Principal really are and what their ulterior motives are for following Fumiaki round. If it's just coincidence I won't be a happy bunny

The series is pretty decent, except that the original plot has been mostly forgotten in the midst of all the other stuff going on.

This show would be a lot better if it wasn't episodical. If only every episode was directed towards the main plot, then it would be so much better.

Still, this episode was good. Looking forward to the next one.

Not bad, that ending sure was beautiful! And to know that she was the one who wanted it and her father just kept the promise was quite a nice attribution to the whole story! Lets see what's next, lets hope it will now be more story wise development than side-stories!

It seems like things will actually start to pick up from here on out. Only took 10 episodes for SOME plot development.... But there's 3 episodes left.. I wonder how they're going to wrap up this already short series, with barely any development until now... Hmmmm

And guess we'll finally see Mikaze's true side. Lol watch her kill Maya. That scene where Mikaze and the VP were fighting over Abe was funny though. I'm guessing the VP came at the right moment; who knows what would've happened if Abe went over to that chicks place for dinner....

I don't watch after-credits episode previews for a reason.

Looks like I'll have to stop reading episode discussions as well.

Well, Maya sure recovered quickly from that at the end. Anyways, I would like to commend on the scenario for this episode, as a sidetrack to the main plot which still ends up as being interesting and emotionally touching for a stand-alone. The direction was however disappointing, as one can clearly see the balance between the shifts in situations and overall plot development for this episode to be rather awkward and misplaced, such as the two simultaneously occurring events with Maya in one and Fumiaki in the other. Nevertheless, the slight faux pas is reasoned by the emotional end to the ghost girl Akari, while cliched for similar stories, is still touching.

For those who worry about the main plot, I believe it can cover the story in 3 episodes (though expect a rushed and slightly crappy end to it); I knew something was fishy with Mikaze. Her intentions?

I can't believe the poor girl died in the snow waiting for Santa! that is so sad ;__________________________________________________________;

It was nice her dad came as Santa at the party and she was finally at peace.

I bet they don't really kill Maya, she's the main one! that'd be silly.

Yeah a lot of monster of the week episodes.
