What is your way of getting anime? Downloading? Shopping? TV? Borrowing from friends? :))
If your answer is downloading then give as much information as possible: software, web pages, ports(!), ip's, irc servers, channels, workarounds, you know, all that 'stuff' you use to get whatever anime you want as fast as possible. I bet there are alot of ppl outthere that doesn't know how to use a torrent, irc or p2p client! So give us your info and we will give you... whatever we can in return!

P.S.: this is my first post so excuseme if this thread should belong somewhere else, is already started OR EVEN doesn't belong in this forum! Total n00b and proud of it =:p

I download if its unlicensed or short enough not to kill my hard drive space XD

Sometimes I buy If I really want it (aka Haruhi Suzumiya and RahXephon) but mostly I trade manga volumes for it or rent it via Netflix. Or borrow it from my friends.

70% torrents, 20% anime club showing, 10% Netflix (mostly older shows that are now on DVD). I NEVER buy anything unless I've seen it. The only two exceptions are Le Chevalier D'Eon and Hellsing Ultimate because I couldn't stand the Engrish and wanted to watch them dubbed.

Almost always through torrents, sometimes IRC if I'm looking to watch something rather quick, or if I just need a single episode. Occasionally DDL if IRC doesn't work out in that situation, and I've bought a few series.
I've borrowed a few DVD's in the past, but it's mostly me borrowing out to my friends :P

For me it's downloading as i don't have the money right now to buy everything i have on my list :(

Primary source is irc. Have 2 bots + ftp sitting on my T3 home line so I'm in a few private channels with..pretty much every distro bot with 20+mbit upload.

Using torrents only for seeding for a certain group...

I buy all my anime from Animenation, Robert's anime corner store, and Best Buy. The only thing that I haven't bought is Trinity Blood since a friend just put it on my computer for me and left me a note that I would watch it. So basically I spend too money =( There is always the free stuff on cartoon network for me to watch.
Watch first, decide later!

w00t, youtube! but theyre getting more strict on licensed stuff, so i use truveo.com which cross references allmost all great streaming vid sites. if that fails, i try megavideo. although, i usually only view from streaming for older anime, since i like watching vids in quality and full screen.
usually i torrent new anime, since i hate ddl from sites like megauploads and rapidshare since i cant use a dl manager unless i pay, but that defeats the purpose of free anime. torrents ftw!

DVDs and television for the licensed stuff. One show I watch legal streaming, but it's one of those "interested enough to keep watching, but doubt I'd buy it" sort of things, so the quality isn't a big issue for me on that one.

Torrents for the unlicensed stuff.

If I watch a title online then it is either a streaming episode or a direct download (if it's available); I cannot stand torrents because I am a pretty impatient person. But most of the time I would rather purcahse a DVD or borrow a DVD from a friend.
