Funny my friend got his first pentakill on Nidalee today lol
That means nothing... Not to mention, Nidalee was never able to get a pentakill by herself because she has a really poor lane presence, so even if you managed to get a pentakill as nidalee AD it would still have been thanks to the help of your team

Nida AP is fine but Nida AD was like pub stomper on lanes

and I can't believe riot reduced her attack damage even more... I always had difficulties last hitting with nidalee, her projectile is so slow and the initial damage was so low. And riot nerfed it by like 20%. Yeah, that's all I needed for never playing as nidalee again riot

I'm glad they nerfed her, I don't even see why u are complaining, she was so ridiculously OP,had 0 counters in lane and needed a permaban everygame. Glad she isn't in my games anymore.

SORAKA IS SO RIDICULOUSLY OP

DAT Q CAN TAKE LIKE 20% OF THE OPPOSING AD'S LIFE ON EARLY GAME

Definitely one of the top tiers support right now, not to mention the 3 seconds 300-HP heal with no mana cost is SO OP. ALl right, it costs 10% of Soraka's hp, but you can recover way more when you hit an enemy with Q so it doesn't really matter in a teamfight.

And what about the silence? Argh, area silence for 1.5 seconds plus root everyone in place.

And what about her passive? Extra 70% movement speed when moving towards an ally with less than 40% health. That helped me escape so many times, and I actually managed to save some people with that.

Her Q does 150% damage to enemies on the center of the star, and it is pretty easy to hit them. It also scales really well with AP. Right now I guess Soraka is a GREAT counter-pick to APC because area silence + high life-stealing burst

I love Soraka now

What's up with the community, so much trolling and shit atitude in general, it drives me nuts how shitty people are in general.

I took a little break from LoL, came back and I'm geting even mroe trolled and flammed in my normal games..... People trully are pathetic to have the need to troll in normal games without being in a 5 team premade that shares the same mindset.

I took a break from Ranked to play a few normals and in those two normal matches I played, both of the supports (veigar and heimy) were the most toxic people I have ever seen. -_- I asked help warding because I was buying pinks and greens and both of them called me a "cunt" throughout the game. They told me the trinket is the only thing I need to ward with lol and that a sight stone was useless o.O. I know its not ranked, but I still prefer if everyone would ward more, regardless of role. Even if its just one extra ward lol.

One of them wanted to support and I guess the other was upset that he had to support.

I don't think I would bother with normals if I didn't play with friends. It's all of the toxicity of ranked with no progression.

Tried out the new Viktor today and I must say, he's really fun. The rework really upped his late game power since the old hex core was a good early game purchase but after a certain point, it falls off really hard and becomes very slot inefficient making him weaker than other mages past the mid game. Plus, everyone just buys the Augment: Death item anyways as the other two didn't feel worth the gold. The Perfect Hex Core is awesome! I do find it interesting that Lich Bane is core on him now due to his new Q giving extra damage on the next auto attack.

It was their attitude throughout the entire game. They failed bot and then used strong language to take out their frustration on the rest of the team.

It wasn't about it being a normal or a ranked, it's about those kind of people in general. You run into them in both normal and ranked.

As a lowly silver bracket scrub, can I ask what is the benefit of jungle items? I just can't seem to ever get on board with building a hunter's machete into something when I play jungle. All the endgame versions of it look serviceable enough but ultimately feel overshadowed by better item choices. Randuin's Omen > Spirit of the Ancient Golem for example, or Infinity Edge / Bloodthirster / Blade of the Ruined King / Black Cleaver / basically any decent AD item > Elder Lizard. I feel like it's a wasted item slot.

I am considering building quill coat early game but then perhaps selling it later to build into a more useful late game item. It would be a net 210 gold loss, but if I can get even 3 stealth wards planted out of using its active, that would account for the gold loss while still allowing me to eventually buy a more worthwhile item towards the endgame.

They're cost efficient for their stats and provide sustain for the jungle. They let you clear faster as well.

I hardly play solo normals at all anymore, only with friends. They're so troll it's just a waste of time and you don't learn anything from them. Only ranked helps you improve.

Regarding jungle items. They're vital. You should not jungle without one. They let you clear much faster, do more damage to dragon and baron, gain extra gold for clearing, are cost efficient, and give stats that greatly improve nearly all junglers' ganks.

Really the only downside to them is the one that's completely moot, the one you're looking at: full build end game slot efficiency. They are cheaper because they need to be obtained earlier in the game than anyone else can finish their first item, giving you a chance to get a couple good ganks off to give your team a lead. Always rush a jungle item for this reason. But because of this, they are of course less slot efficient because they are cheaper.

The philosophy behind building solely for the endgame is all wrong. Yes, endgame-wise, SOTEL is terrible, which is why everyone sells that item if the game actually goes long enough to fully buy another 6th item. But games almost never go that long, they should definitely never go that long in silver unless you're playing wrong, and endgame in general is not important at all to a jungler. A jungler wants to get his early SOTEL or whichever jungle item and push his team in the lead and win before endgame OR get his carries there before the enemy. Even then, the majority of games are won before full builds, in fact--

You should NEVER consider your 6 item build in any game no matter who you're playing. Your first 3 items are the items that decide 90% of games. Not your full 6. Everyone seems to think full builds are important. They're not. Your first 3 items are way more important. Two reasons: 1. Everyone has an optimal 6 item build in mind. No matter what your idea of a 6 item build for your champion is it is likely not that much better than someone else's. Full builds are common knowledge and the power differences between them are small. Number of items is far more important.

2. This isn't Farm Simulator. This isn't a game where both sides politely wait for the other team to farm their items and then duke it out when both sides declare they're ready. You need to be constantly strong, if not to push your advantage, then to at least be able to farm, deny the enemy, and defend your towers. Almost never do both teams make it to 6 item builds at the same time. One team almost always has the lead well before then. Leads mean wayyyy more than which team is building more optimally for the endgame. Even if your team is better suited for lategame, if you're behind then building slightly more slot efficiently won't mean jack and is probably the reason you're behind in the first place.

Lategame comps don't mean anything if they don't get there, and bargaining that your team will be behind most of the game (which is what you're assuming if you skip machete) only to come out on top endgame by turtling all game and building more slot efficiently is a HIGHLY risky and flawed way to play and will happen WAY less than building a strong early item, pushing your strength, and being AHEAD. Comeback stories are heartwarming, but only because they are VERY RARE. And no one climbs by betting on a last minute comeback every game, if for no other reason than the fact that you're relying on a coinflip between your endgame team and the enemy's, doesn't matter if you have a Randuin's and their jungler has a SOTEL, endgame fights aren't decided by a single item, much less a single item on a jungler that's slightly better than the enemy jungler's.

Endgame slot efficiency should NEVER be a factor in your build path. I know, I used to think like that too, and it seems like the optimal way to play because it is cost efficient. But you need to be constantly strong, not "oh just wait until I get my ___, ___, and ___, THEN I'll dominate everyone! That's a highly ineffective way to play and common with newer players. All experienced players you see will build seemingly random longswords, chain vests, and tier 2 items because while they are not full items, they are cheap and give stats that win fights. A midgame 6 item build with only 2 completed items is as much of a game deciding build than one with 6 completed. SOTEL+brutalizer+tabi is already an amazing build on many junglers and incredibly cheap, and you will have it before the laners even have 2 completed items. At which point you gank. And destroy. Because you can solo anyone on the map. Do not ignore midgame builds like that because that is a jungler's spike. Not endgame. Leave that to Tristana.

God I loved that C9 v NJWS tiebreaker match. That guerilla splitpush all over the map was insane! I really don't like Hai's Talon, but once I realized the strategy they were going for, I understood. If only Hai played safer in the laning phase and Ggoong didn't become huge, they would've had that game no sweat.

TSM beats SSW 3-2, and C9 beats SSB 3-1 the dream. xD

Balls has shown why he's the best Rumble at worlds. Every single ult was perfect... and to this day he remains undefeated. Sadly they have to face Samsung Blue next while TSM has to face Samsung White. Hopefully at least one of them can make it through.

Hai's Talon pick during the tiebreaker was questionable since Lee Sin makes his stealth useless and Zilean will just ult the carry.

Also, KABUM manage to beat Alliance. I knew it immediately when I saw it was the top post on Reddit. The Americas have done well today, both North and South.

I don't see how most guides say that Nasus vs Zed is an easy lane for Nasus. Zed can harass him infinitely for no mana cost, and if Nasus tries to get close, Zed has his "built in flash". It's like one of the worst possible lanes if Zed knows what he is doing.

I think it's for his wave clear, mobility, and pick potential. I'd imagine they would've preferred zed for their duo split push strategy, but had to settle for talon.

If only Hai didn't screw up the early game.

I think it would've worked better had Shield gone with anyone but Zed as Talon's mobility is inferior to his in many ways not to mention Hai doesn't have a good record with him so far. He's got better roam potential than Zed does so you do have a good point there. Basically, he had to hang tight until the mid-game and he could've possibly snowballed a victory as he becomes more of a liability when behind.

Nasus can sustain most of Zed's early harass by farming minions. And he naturally builds armor so it becomes hard for Zed to burst him down once he reaches level 6.

Nasus can't sustain shit if Zed is leveling up the damage first. Trust me, I tried really hard. And most of my starter items were armor just because I thought I would have a chance against Zed.

I guess Nasus got a lot of problems if the Zed on lane is good. I've played as Nasus against some Zeds that got stomped hard by me, but a few of them actually stomp me. If they harass hard I won't even have the chance to farm

That's right, player skill does play a big role in this as well. Nasus is more about late game power and won't beat Zed in lane but will outscale him regardless. As long as you are equal in CS (or even slightly behind) then you shouldn't have too many problems until he gets his ult. Also, did any of these Zed's you face get lots of ganks? Pre-6, Zed can harass as Nasus players will usually focus on farming so you'll have a harder time in lane than he will but he isn't likely to kill you unless you extend too far. This changes once you farmed enough, which by then would lead you to beat Zed in most situations.
Though to be honest, I haven't seen Zed top in a long time. Nowadays everyone plays him mid.
