| Because most anime is a 40 year old dude's depiction of what modern teenagers and high school life is like. Obviously its going to be a painful mess of bad dialogue and misplaced "how do you do, fellow kids?" garbage.  |

| i have no idea what anime you're talking about, but i always get a positive feel when i see anime with characters from different age groups getting screen time, like ritsuko misato kaji gendo from evangelion or yuri and tsubuki from penguindrum or a ton of saiunkoku monogatari characters @_@" so anyway, this might be a sign that you've outgrown this kind of kids anime; you should start watching more mature stuff, OP |
