| The fight between Birdy and Nataru in Birdy the Mighty Decode:02 was impressive not because it was "epic" or served as eye candy, but because it essentially threw away art quality and detail to focus on one thing: movement. Although people may think otherwise, I thought this technique depicted the gritty intensity of the battle quite well. |

| I haven't watched that much animes yet but the 2 best battles i've seen in anime are : The last fight in Sword Of The Stranger ( Best swordfight ever ) Emiya Kiritsugu VS Kotomine Kirei in Fate/Zero ( Amazing fight, also it's one of the rare fights where you don't really know who will win. ) What i hate is when fights start going full retard with overpowered characters like in DragonBall Z. Don't misunderstand me, i loved DragonBall but it's just not good when fights are like that. What i hate even more is when there is a major asspull, for exemple, pretty much everyone of Natsu's fights in Fairy Tail. |

| Chimproo Desert - Ugly vs Stimpy anyone who was watching the show knows that this was just BOUND to happen. the build up in episode 6 alone left us on our toes until the final 4 minutes which were filled with un-ending, life-questioning awesomeness. You could tell that both Kyo-ani and Madhouse poured their soul (and money) into that scene. |

| Luffy VS Rob Lucci/Crocodile. Both are pretty great, though I give the slight edge to the Crocodile fight for being the climax of my favorite arc. Kenshin VS Shishio. Still fucking delivers after all these years. Shishio is one of the rare big baddies that actually exceeds the hype built up around him. Hisoka Vs Gon. To put it simply, this fight marked the moment that I knew Hunter X Hunter would be one my all time favorites. I was completely sold from this moment on. |
