| Okay so as far as I'm concerned when it comes to One Piece, a character isn't actually dead unless you see them die. I thought Bellamy was killed by Doflamingo but it was off-screen and he's alive now. Plus, Oda's pretty reluctant to kill of characters. So, since we never actually saw Vergo die, is it possible that he escaped from Punk Hazard? He was a genuinely strong guy who could probably beat most of the Straw Hat Crew (save for Zoro and Luffy) and he was pretty high up in the Doflamingo Family Hierarchy. I feel like it'd be a waste if he was one-shotted just like that. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back in the Dressrosa arc. And for Mr. 2, again, we never actually saw him die. It just ended with Magellan about to hit him. Blackbeard and his crew were roaming around Impel Down as well. Would it be too much of a stretch if maybe Blackbeard's marksman (forgot his name >.>) shot at Magellan before he killed Mr. 2 thus saving him. It's been on my mind for a while since we never actually saw him die. Maybe he joined up at Okama Island xD I don't think Monet is alive, though, since her heart was stabbed right through. But, I don't want to contradict myself so I suppose she could still be alive (although it's really far-fetched). Just wondering what anybody thought about this? How awesome would it be to see Mr. 2 again or have Vergo reappear as an enemy that wasn't one-shotted. |

| I think Monet is definitely dead, as we directly saw her die. With Vergo...knowing Oda he definitely could still be alive, and considerig his short screen time, I partly hope he is. THat said, the New World seems to be a bit of a darker place than Paradise, and I think the body count is going to be higher than anything pre-timeskip. (Still, on Oda levels, not too much death lol) So I wouldn't mind if Vergo stayed dead, it kinda illustrates how much more dangerous this New World is. Still, it wouldn't be a shock if he's still out there. He was just a head in a massive facility the exploded though...we'll have to see. |

Enel did go to space and fight space pirates, and find little machines and stuff. Hachi met Keimi under the sea, Buggy met Alvida and she joined their crew, Coby and Helmeppo were trained by Garp, Wapol got a kingdom from the nobles, etc, etc. It's all canon. I wonder why they never made more mini-arcs out of these in the anime, they animated the Buggy and Coby Cover stories, I don't see why they couldn't do the rest, there's a lot there to exploit, and it could help the pacing by adding in between "Arcs" that aren't exactly filler, but help pad out the show. |

| Nah, Mr.2 is alive but I assume that Vergo is dead. The island was exploded, i don't think he can survive that. (unless he was given a hand) |

| So, Mr. 2 is alive cause I'm pretty sure the cover stories are canon (why can't the anime animate the Caribou one and put some space between the manga), Monet is pretty much dead, and unless someone helped Vergo get off the island, it's likely that he died as well. |
