| Anyone realise that Kishi had been building this up since Obito's flashback? I mean, look at it; There is at least a 3 generation gap between Sasuke/Naruto and Hashirama/Madara, yet Hashirama and Madara were the previous generation reincarnations of Ashura and Indra. Hashirama died sometime after his battle with Madara, meaning that Ashura's reincarnation had died, but it was revealed that Madara did not die until at least a year before Naruto's birth, thus why Hashirama and Madara were the previous generation reincarnations. | They will receive Ninshuu And I don't think Sasuke is getting 9 bijuus because he isn't the "blue eyed boy who knows all their names and plays with them" It surprised me that Sasuke had the same answer as Naruto :) It's Itachi that changed him! If it came down to who died , I wouldn't want any of them two but imagining Kishi to kill both of them would actually be history! Then leave Karin & Sakura depresso for the rest of their lives.. |

| No one realizes Ninshuu is not a combat power. The sage's power-up for Naruto and Sasuke will not be Ninshuu because Ninshuu (already been explained earlier in the series) is just the link between people and the world. It's explained how they started using Ninjutsu by cutting the link between others and only having chakra inside them. Ninshuu is not a power-up, stop saying that he will give it to Naruto and Sasuke guys. |
| Ninshuu was given to all people as a way to connect them and bring them closer (to understand each other so war would end). But by closing off the link (the chakra flow) and confining it to their own bodies, not allowing it to freely connect them, it gave them power of Ninjutsu by controlling how they release the chakra. Therefore unless you're implying Sasuke and Naruto link themselves together with Ninshuu, then it has no way to power them up. |
| God this has become a convoluted mess. Every time I REALLY try to like something, I mean I was trying to buy into this whole Ashura and Indra being transmigrants but it didn't do it for me at all. To me it just seems like an all too convenient plot device for Kishi to bail himself out, and wrap this up. I don't want to sound like a debbie downer here seeing as how I'm still reading like all of you, but everything's felt so lackluster for a little while (except for Gai's epic last stand). I would have rather listen in on Sasukes conversation a little more to see how he reached his decision but for obvious reasons (the series is called Naruto) we weren't given such a treatment. Anyway, I know he's giving them ninshuu, I just hope---I hope so badly that they don't emerge with matching rinnegan's, I'll puke. I swear I'll do it. All being said I really hope there is a satisfying build up and that I am proven wrong, and that I am acting like a spoiled brat, really I hope I am. I hate not looking forward to this series every week any more like I do with One Piece (Bleach was a lost cause a while ago) so hopefully with Sasuke/Naruto refreshed and ready, it becomes a little---no, a lot more interesting. |
| Remember that even if only Sasuke gets the Rinnegan then he can just ressurrect Gai up. If Naruto can inject healing into Gai's corpse beforehand (similar to how Naruto healed himself at the VotE in part 1) then Gai will be up and running in no time. And res up Neji, Inoichi, Shukaku, and anyone who died in the last 24 hours while you're at it. |

| Any body else notice that the sage said the prophecy was predicted by a toad named Gamamaru, the same way the Elder Toad sage predicted Naruto's battle with Pain and his eventual meeting with an Octopus (Killer Bee). Who knows, they could even be one and the same, he's certainly old enough for that to be possible, or if that's far-fetched, maybe the Elder Toad is simply a descendant of Gamamaru, seeing as they both have prophetic powers that enable them to foretell the future, to a certain extent at least. It makes you think..... |

| I liked it. Sure it followed along the same lines as the original thoughts I had after reading 670 but the artwork made it interesting (I know it sounds a bit childish to say something like that but that's how I feel about it). Also, it's nice that we finally get to know the Byakugan's ancestry and that there was actually 'some' truth to what Neji told Naruto about the sharingan being descended from the Byakugan. All of the Uchiha are indeed descended from a Byakugan user but that user also had the sharingan and possibly the Rinnegan as well. |

| This chapter was good. The ending certainly took me out for a spin. Now, I know the anime is called Naruto BUT it would have made way more sense to read about Sasuke's encounter with the SO6P rather than Naruto. With Naruto all we got was his stupidity on full blast, a history lesson that mostly rehashed information we already knew and a great reveal about the reincarnated brothers. With Sasuke it could have been a deep revelation of his character development. A great chance to get into his head and see where his heart truly lands in all this. I feel like Sasukes character never really got that chance to say word for word in confidence how he feels and what he's thinking. It would have been good shit. I'm finally pumped up again for Naruto! This is going to be insane. Well, only if my guesses aren't correct. |

| I...Im at a loss for words right now... I thought Bleach was BS after Ichigo being every single race in the bleach Universe but Naruto has chakra from all 9 demons AND is getting Sage Powers and is supposedly the descendent of the 6 Path's son? Am I missing something? I guess this explains why Sasuke was seen as a "genius" in the beginning of the series and Naruto struggled to even make shadow clones but still... I don't even know. Goku Is still trying to go super sayain while naruto gets all these power ups in 2 chapters. |

| I'm totally gonna lose it when they animate the Guy fight that is going on right now. After seeing Lee open the 5 gates against Gaara I always hoped they would show the 8 Gates at some point. And it's so awesome. I've gotten so much more respect for Guy because of that. Give them a high enough animation budget for those scenes and this is going to be the best fight of the entire series. This reminds me of that time when the godly Deidara vs Sasuke fight was going on in the manga. Has been quite a while since I've been this excited for Naruto. And deep down I'm still hoping that Guy will make it... But he won't. And I will cry. =( |

| I would've liked to see at least a few pages of Sasuke's conversation since we all knew how Naruto would react. Anyway, since this reveal isn't bad and was actually hinted at quite a while back, I have no complaints about it but I really hope the upcoming power up isn't too overwhelming. |
