No surprise with Koko ending up with Banri. I was more interested in how they would get there and was seriously seriously disappointed in the horrible pacing of the episode.

The bridge thing was terrible, it felt like the show ran out of time and then threw this confusing and nonsensical scene in to settle matters with Ghost Banri and Linda.

Everything was so rushed, I couldn't get into it and felt indifference at the happy ending I had been waiting for.

There were some moments that were good, but overall it was a real shame of a last episode that dragged down my opinion of the show. But to be fair it slowly began going downhill after the first dozen episodes anyway.

7/10

THANK YOU!!! I felt the same way. The last episode was pure crap. I could not stand the bridge scene at all. Serious groaner. If that's in the LN, then wow Takemiya is a one hit wonder. So much was rushed. The anime was crap to begin with but I had hopes it could get better, it did not. If they ever make another Takemiya LN into anime, get the people who did Toradora and allow her time to complete the story at her own pace!!!!

So Linda hugged a ghost? and ghost Banri just found his ring out of the river? lolwut, unless Banri imagined all of that. Why doesn't Banri get some medical help cause he really needs it for all of the stuff that happened. the show was pretty cool though.

I knew the ending was predictable, but this has to be one of the biggest asspull bullshit endings in the history of romance anime.

Characters were meh (Nana best character), story was meh, art was ok, mixed feelings on the sound (first opening and ending and second ending are good, 2nd opening must be the worst opening I've ever seen)

Best moment in the whole anime was when Koko's dad slapped her. The bitch needed it.

Overall rating: 6/10

I'm glad it's over.

Well quite an okay ending i guess. Not really much of a 'BANG!!' but at least all the problems were settled and ended nicely (though a bit rushed)
Although the part with Linda kind of leaves a small aching feeling at the end because she probably went off to cry or something after finally revealing her feelings. I really liked her and the old Banri together but oh well.. Whats done is done...
Lastly, Koko and Banri.... Expected... Its like, you could predict that he was gonna remember her and chase after her.... Thats all....
I really did hope for a more interesting ending or a twist or catch in the story (not in who banri ends up with but in how the problems are solved).
Still, an enjoyable anime while it lasted ^_^ (LindaxBanri forever) hahaha
If anime characters were real, i'd probably be the happiest person alive! Or just dead.... ^_^

Feel bad for Linda. This feels like a cop out ending for some reason. 3/5 for episode... 7/10 for the whole anime. Good watch, but could have been better at handling things like Banri's stupid split personality.

I also can not believe this is the same person that made the masterpiece that is Toradora!!

That was obviously a cop-out, fairy tale ending to say "Look viewers, now Linda can move on." She truly felt for Banri, but Banri does not give a shit.

I'm reasonably happy about the ending. I'm biased because Yui Horie voiced kouko. However I do feel slightly bothered.

I think that the episode where Linda and Banri worked together at the party showed the best chemistry out of all scenes in the show. Its a little sad.

The last episode was not as good as I was hoping, (key word there), but was far better than what I was expecting, (especially with the way it started & the "old" Banri took over & didn't care for his new friends since "he didn't remember them" ).

When he began to chase Koko & Linda was supporting him, when he got to the bridge scene, that part threw me off a bit at first. When I went back & re-watched it, I took the scene to be the writer/director visually showing both sides of Banri facing each other for the first time in the series.

While it showed Linda hugging "ghost" Banri, in "reality" she was actually confessing her feelings for the Banri that was going to Koko. Linda confessed her feelings & told her old friend, (who know had regained both sets of memories as his "ghost" self could move on since they obtained that which they had waited nearly two years for, (i.e. Linda's confession), that she loved him & loved him being in love with Koko.

When she ran off, for some reason I could not help but wonder if she went off to talk to Mitsuo about his interest in her, (similiar to their cute little moment at the club recruitment drive shown while the end credits are scrolling by).

The author did a decent job of tying up most of the loose ends & hinted at potentially something more with the Linda x Mitsuo scene I mentioned. Also, I was happy to see 2-D Kun fight & go after Tada with the emails & how Chinami used her video footage.

I would give this episode a 9/10. I would love to see a OVA come out with a potential time skip of about 2 years from the series ending to the OVA. It would be nice to see the characters as young working professionals & watching Banri & Koko get married, (also would be interesting to see Lind & Mitsuo together along with 2-D kun & Chinami being a couple).

I will look back fondly on this series much as I have for Toradora. It was a fun ride all the way through, (best scenes in the series to me are still the failed love scene in episode 19 with the Eiffel Tower, Tada savaing Yana in Episode 8 & of course the Nana punch when Banri surprises who he thought was Koko in the elevator).

Can't complain about a really happy end to a romance but the show as a whole was lacking imo.

It fell short of my expectations I guess. It wasn't bad but the drama was just not up my ally. I never had any real draw drops. In truth the first half of this series was more interesting then the second half.

Romance being my favorite genre, 6 or 7 out of 10.

That was hard to watch. Too much drama, irrational behavior, and an almighty ghost which there wasn't really a point to. I actually quite enjoyed the first half which was funny and interesting (even though Kaga and Bari's relationship seemed a bit fake) but the second half had a ghost going god mode in what seems like a "realistic" anime, bunch of pointless drama and things like Yana randomly liking Linda (which came out of nowhere imo) and chiho's personality doing a 180 after she cut her hair. One thing I really did like was the first ED, quite good :)

5/10.

The "ghost" is more like a hallucination conveniently showing us how Banri dealt with his past self. Think of it more as multiple personality syndrome rather than amnesia and fits to the plot nicely. Hence the lack of the "supernatural" tag.

Past Banri never got the reply and that scene at the Bridge was basically Present Banri telling Past Banri Linda's reply that he got when he asked her in Tokyo(forgot which episode).

Put into that perspective. I give this a 9/10 for fitting it's genre tags almost perfectly.

Because that was the point of the story. It's amazing that people still don't get that.

But yes it was rushed and blame the production company for not giving Takemiya time to finish the story. Not too mention too few episodes (3) to cover the last volume.

Oka is moved on (seems)
At last part, where "golden time song", linda seems blushed when she saw yana.. hmm..

and my unanswered question: who's the person that hit banri 'till he's fell off the bridge? is it the one who cheated with ex-girlfriends of linda's brother?

(sorry about my english)

The story is over. That's it. If there was going to be more then they would have done a better job of adapting the Light Novel and made more episodes instead of compressing 8 volumes of material into 24 episodes.

Horrible job.

Because one episode resolves typically mean quality. Ha.
I'm probably overly harsh but I can only see giving it a 2/10 for some colorful backgrounds. Didn't have anything on its plot, setting and characters. Hasn't managed to portray themes properly (if any) + has nothing special about it.

Meh.

The ending seemed really rushed & weird.

Kinda hard to comprehend what that bridge scene was actually suppose to be?And the episode as a whole was all over the place.

But despite that still liked this for the most part, though it started to lose me when all the Ghost Banri, memories resurfacing stuff started to happen 7/10.

And despite the main couple getting a lot of attention, be it positive or negative. After this, 2D-Kun turned easily into the most memorable character of the series, fun enough.

Wanna see more of his seiyu after working here and Zexal, and he has like 28 years and few roles? Wonder what's with that.

Yuuup, liked Golden Time quite a lot during the first half. But after that the interest slowly but surely died down. And by the end - just didn't care anymore about the characters... or at least not all of them. That's a bad thing for a romance drama.

6/10

It's a shame. Had almost only positive thoughts about it in the beginning. But what can you do.

Well, in the end if one thing's for certain it's that 2D-kun's such a good friend. Um, to sum up my thoughts basically, certain bits of the drama came off forced and as for the ending this episode, the visualisation of all those Banris on the bridge just had me O_o.

That's not to say there're not many redeeming points though; the first half of Golden Time was a refresher with a lot of enjoyable characters, and Kouko at this point was also one that wasn't just a run out of the mill stalker/obsessive girl. The show lost charm and momentum through its dramatic moments which maybe should've been done in less quantity and more quality. Ghost Banri was and is a mystery to the very end and his segment playing God, was perhaps the thing that started giving me ideas that this wasn't meant to be so realistic.

It wasn't a bad romcom, but it was hardly a great one.

Freaking 2d-kun needs a better end for everything he's done. The show started off around 8-9 then slowly went to a 5-6 in my opinion. Kinda disappointed. The feels was not there for me, probably because it felt a little forced or cheesy idk... But I'll miss Koko, 2dkun, Chinami, and Nana though.
