| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yet another spectacular episode. It's all up to the original three now, and Maka has to find out what makes Soul "tick". ("Gray" Soul is very disturbing looking.) BTW - It looks like Death Scythe took as much of the blast as did Shinigami. But the previews may be the most disturbing part - what will happen to Kid? Does he take over his father's role in a very different way? Damn! It's going to be hard to wait for the last two episodes!!! |
| Great epi, the 3 finally make way to Asura. Man, I thought there's going to be a Maka x Soul moment XD Anyway, love the fight scenes & Soul's sudden breakdown made some interesting plot twist. Next epi, looks like Kidd gone berserk, can't wait for that one =3 |

| Was I the only one going "WTH, Asura was shown to eat dozens of witches before, why is it so different this time?" But aside from that it was a pretty good episode. Gray Soul IS creepy… Oo Looks like next epi is going to be interesting. And then… the finale… |
| Even with black blood, Maka, kid and black star didnt manage to kill mosquito. How in the world can their power match up against Kishin? There will probabily be some spectacular powerups inorder to have any chance facing Kishin. I still prefer to have a Shinigami and Kishin fight to the end... any chance of that happening? |
| Guess it could be, still i hope it's soul and maka who win that fight... even though i don't know if it would be the destiny for the world to be destroyed by the kishin, strange twist, don't think that happens but it would be another ending... still don't think black star can overpower a god, and is death the kid going to die next ep?? didn't understood the preview.... ahhhh!!! gray soul must be the little devil and the blue box the real soul of soul, i wonder what would happen if maka opens it! |
| Giving the preview I get where it is going... For those who don't read manga and don't mind getting spoiled: I really like how the anime turns out even tough I like the manga way better. |

| So the beginning half was good. Especially the animation and dynamic camera following BlackStar up Asura. I was taken aback by that. Then Soul passed out and all the momentum from the last episode went away. I easily got bored. This I'm sure is going to be the beginning of the deus ex since I can't trust there to be any natural development making the trio about a million times stronger that they are right now. |
| Maka saves Soul, then uses some plotkai to defeat the Kishin just before Black Star and Kid die. Let's just get it over with and move on. |

| I liked the part Maka-Soul. But the fight frankly, is disappointing. As I wanted the Kishin kill the Black Star ;/ |

| (maka's mom) i dont think she would want to pair with spirit and i thought they said they couldnt get a hold of her and even if they did she probably thought shinigami handled kishin before he could do it again i personally want the madness to take over everything i didn't see this preview you all are going on about T.T |

| Well in the anime I doubt that Maka's mother will appear but in the manga I have no doubt that she will appear someday. I don't think that she wouldn't pair with spirit, I mean yeah she may hate him now but if she's as strong and cool as Maka see her she won't let some slight feeling get in the way and not kill the Kishin because of that. Shinigami understimated the Kishin, that's why he didn't bother much about finding others death scythe and technician. And don't get wrong, the anime just setted up thing badly. Black star, Kid and Maka once they get these power-up (who already been given in the manga) wouldn't stand a chance alone against the kishin, but if they use resonnance they have enough power to put a good fight against him. (I'm talking about anime Kishin, manga Kishin is probably way stronger) Shinigami won't come, first because the Kishin right now is out of Shibusen and is on Arachne's castle. Second because he is dead(?) and if he's still alive probably won't move for a while. noteDhero said: I can't trust there to be any natural development making the trio about a million times stronger that they are right now. | Dooh, I think Gray Soul's hot. XD Manga is still on-going so I really doubt if it's going to end just like "Maka and friends killed Asura and everybody's happy now". Well, I hope it won't. |

| Man, that little demon with his ambitious appearance makes me unable to wait for the next episode. I want Soul to summon the big version of the demon to battle Asura. Too much imagination for me. |

| I like where the anime is going... I havent read the manga so it really doesn't bother me that aparently the anime is way off from the manga. But I don't like how they keep jumping from this to that, the middle of one battle to the end of another and then... ya, I lose interest cause it jumps around too much. |
| The episode started well, but it slowed up once Little Demon finally took over Soul's... Soul. Its been so long since he'd been infected with the Black Blood, I wonder why it only affected him now, it affected Maka before Season 2 even started. The fight was lacking variety, all Kid did was launch the same Death Cannon around 20 times at Asura and nothing happened. Same goes for Black Star and his close combat techniques, they never really worked. Asura needs to do more to make this fight more epic as well. 49 down, 2 to go |

| Read the manga it's different but if you enjoy the anime you will enjoy it. Personnaly I love way more the manga but that's only my opinion. ^ They continued to hit because it had an effect, the barrier was damaged that mean that Asura must at least take energy to block these shot.. When he'll run out of energy the shot will start to damage him but well when he iwll really lack energy he'll probably start to be serious. |

| Death Cannon spam sucks... Black Star sucks... Ugly Bigass Kishin sucks.... Soul pawnz! Litle demon eats a pawning Soul! Kid with Sanzu Lines powerup ownzz! Is Free even gonna do anything? I mean they should of just have kept him and Eruka in hiding, let Stein win the brew war for shibusen and turn mad afterwards. Medusa should have died at the hands of Stein in the Kishin ressurection arc. That would have made this anime a lot better imo. |

| God I hate being behind on my shows, I have to catch up with this, my laptop chose to die at the worst time. >: But whoa, um. Honestly, I'm happy Soul got that hurt, a show that makes one of the main characters go down hard always goes a notch up in my books. Hope he gets out of it, which he will, because it's Soul Eater and Maka's there and can you feel the wuv tonight, blah blah blah. Anyway, did anyone else think that the demon thing looked like it was totally raeping poor Soul when it...raeped him or whatever? Because I did. Also LOL at whoever translated my version, as Justin and Giriko said 'I'm going to screw you,' to each other, and as a Justin/Giriko fan (oh, oh, yes, I went there, and so have plenty of other fangirls, you don't want to know), that was hilariously entertaining.<3 |
