| I have some trouble in my Life right now and I want to have something else to Think about. I'm looking for an anime that get me hooked from the first episode, something that you just can't stop watching because you want to know what is going to happen next. Some anime that have been like that to me: Death Note, Code Geass, FullMetal Alchemist, Bleach ( in the beginning), Mirai Nikki, Sword art Online (the first half), Psycho-Pass. Please recommend me somthing really good, and nothing too long if possible, I loose interest after a while. |

| Shingeki no Kyojin is a very good anime. It had my attention for sure. Mushishi is really nice also, full of short and unusual stories. Trinity Blood if you like vampires :) By the way, excellent soundtrack! Kaichou wa Maid-sama! ok, this is a bit different from the rest but I watched it when I was feeling down and it made me laugh (it has a lot of those characteristic faces when characters are sad, happy, pissed off etc..., I just loved it 'cos of the funny drawings and voices :)) |
| For mystery, a thriller: I thought I wouldn't like Monster because it had so many eps (around 75?), but I got hooked right away.. and finished the anime in a few days. I couldn't stop watching so maybe you won't either. Long, ongoing battle shounen: I recommend Hunter x Hunter (2011), which is ongoing, and Naruto and its ongoing sequel Shippuuden. I usually watch battle shounen when I'm down, so it might work for you too. Please don't look down on Naruto if you haven't watched it yet, instead of listening to all the haters, I think you should try it and form an opinion of your own. Since you've watched both FT and Bleach, you seem to tolerate the battle shounen genre quite well, Also, since you gave Fairy Tail a 10, it wouldn't hurt to try a few eps of One Piece. I watched Fairy tail too and I'm totally up to date with One Piece, and in my humble opinion, I thought OP was much better. Short, finished battle shounen: I totally recommend Shingeki no Kyojin. |

| Thanks for all the recs! I don't really feel like watching something as long as Naruto or One Piece, even though I liked Bleach. Many people reccomend Shingeki no Kyojin, is it really that god? It just doesn't seem that interesting to me but if I start watching it maybe I will like it. |
