| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Guess no one watched it RAW yet. I loved this story and like last one my tears go out for the sins of Casshern. Here in Poland we understand Sins and what it means. I understand them and always have my heart hurt when I understand. I found the environment very beautiful once again with the white flowers. Nico was very cute for a girl robot. Very nice of her tending to Casshern's wounds. Nice battles especially the beginning with the hordes of robots starting to go after him. The scene that made me cry out! Also I screamed so much when Casshern screamed cause Nico died------> someone though I had a heart attack or something. I just told them some sciting show happening. When the person asked me where he could watch, well I could not tell them it was anime so I did not tell him.  Also very beautiful the meaning Hana no Horobi, which is Flowers of Ruin. | Great episode, but still no progress in story except that now maybe Luna is alive, and since that's only a rumour it doesn't mean a thing... I had higher hopes for this show... |

Not everyone we run into doesn't make it in this series. But think Nico's death was a more emotional one for some reasons. Despite all the strength Friender, Casshern, Lyuze, etc have they couldn't protect her. Even Boulden was too damaged to make it in time. That guy had good development. A robot who was fighting like the rest for destroying Casshern etc. But ended up getting attached to Nico and mourned her loss when it was all said and done. Saygram said: Great ep but so sad. Seems like the army he's making and searching for Luna are two options robots are considering. Whether there is validity to that or not is still a mystery. But Dio's army definitely has a pretty obvious objective. Dio already has said he wants to take over things and it would also help in taking down Casshern. You combine Dio's power with numbers and that is a problem. Luna is a really mysterious entity in the series. Maybe she somehow put her consciousness inside Casshern when she gave him that regenerative ability? At the very least its been clear from the start she's got some role to play in this. Not completely being dead (killing an immortal being is tough as we've seen) shouldn't be a shock if that's how it turns out. |

| My favourite episode so far, not only from Casshern, but from the whole season. Sure, it was just another girl that meets Casshern, makes him even more depressed and in the end dies but... it was just so cute n___n retarded robots ftw <333 |
| And it is up again, back at 9/10. I dont care about the plot so much anymore if the show can deliver such strong emotions. Im still trying to pull myself together.... Although Nicos death was not that much of a surprise (the most elaborate side characters only survive one episode in this show), it was carried out so heartrending that I had to swallow several times. Man, I have to watch Toradora, Kannagi or Index right now, otherwise the pictures and depressing atmosphere of this episode will rip into the heart of mine. |

| Damn, another sad episode. I'm really loving the episodic sort of thing instead of following a clear plot all of the time or having several arcs. It's really nice. Each episode is just great and gives off a lot of emotion, a clear plot is honestly not needed, at least until the end. Not to mention they are slowly moving things forward and revealing things more and more as time goes on. This show is great, I'm considering moving it up to a 9 if it keeps this up. |

| Beautiful art as usual, but I especially love the colour vibrancy this time.. For a moment, I thought Nico would follow Casshern at least for a while, but considering the damage she received (shaking but beautiful scene by the way), there's no way she could do so. One of the most emotional death scene to me so far. I also love the fact that some character development (besides the main side character like Boulden), and this makes the story flow better rather than merely Casshern and the side character in that episode. Glad to see some plot development, abeit small, hope to see more coming ^^ |

| i love the atmosphere of this series, its so depressing but yet beautiful. anyone who is complaining about lack of plot doesen't seem to understand the series, its ment to be slow and mystery behind casshern is ment to unfold slowly as he realises all the destruction he has caused to the world. |

| Very sad. Nico was very sympathetic. So innocent cute and nice. Her death was really the more sad death until now. The robot guy developed to be a nice character in the end. That was a good twist. What was that body in the chair anyway? |

| Nico and "robot guy" has moved my heart ;_; I didn't even expect that Bolton will be so human. As sad as beautiful... awesome ep. Also art and music is completely supplement each other. Amaizing. |
| Sad episode, but Nico dying didn't really get to me since it looked pretty clear that she was going to die. What got to me was Bolton during the final scene, robots have been portrayed as fearful and mindless in their lust for more life. But this episode actually gives us a bit more sympathy for them. The fact that this robot grew attached to a little girl, and seeing her die made it all the more sadder for me. |

| So if Luna isn't dead ... what have they been endlessly repeating at the beginning of every episode? We get the same three shots over and over, Casshan telling Luna he'll kill her, a shot of Luna looking shocked, and Casshan looking like he's having a conniption covered in blood. And then that awful OP with nary a moving picture in it. The flower girl was sad, if formulaic. Very fragile, too, compared to what the crazy tower lady survived (20-story fall onto 2 metal roofs and then having a huge bell dropped on her ... while the flower girl just got smacked). Bolton was my favorite character of the episode, especially since he gave the plot the kick-start it needed. So it's turned into the robot version of the Stand, with the good robots trying to find the reborn/resurrected/never-really-dead Luna and the bad robots marching under Dio's banner. This should add some much-needed direction to Casshan's aimless wasteland wanderings. One thing ... Bolton actually seems to cry at the end of the episode, but earlier in the series another robot says that only humans cry. Maybe Bolton is a cyborg under that thick armor? Or maybe I'm just paying too much attention. 4/5 |
