This shitty ass series is horrible. I was glad Haruto died but i wish Shoko died too. Only likable person was L-elf.

5/10 a little bit better than Infinite Stratos season 2. lol

Valvrave the Hesitation should be the real name of this series because all they ever do was hesitate.

Cain was a fake ass Char Aznable.

All I want is a 24 minute OVA with nothing but back story and explanation as too what the hell happened after the battle with Cain, and the events that follow up to the 200 year timeskip. This series biggest fault currently is that these final episodes were rushed at an attempt to sum everything up quickly, so they don't have to make another season. If Sunrise can give me this, I would be happy.

If they do happen make another season, I'll defiantly watch it, if it has to do with the founding of the Third Galactic Reich. If its some kind of shitty subplot about previously un-established characters, I would be SO MAD.

The shittiest tending possible.

NEVER go full-retard Okouchi, NEVER.

- no resolution to anyting.
- Mary sue bitch shoko gets off scoff free and gets even more mary sue.
- everything horribly rushed to bullshit.
- Fucking Shouko is now fucking immortal. This is officially hell and the whole world is fucking highschool musical now.

This just made me drop score to this from 8 to 2. May fucking Okouchi NEVER write again.

Now I'm left with a goddamn shitty taste. Definitely a come and go series for me.
I would have loved to watch Shoko getting blown up, stabbed or decapitated again and again. Instead she becomes immortal. Ewwww!

U are still mad for episode 9? even after she realised her mistake?

Keep pretending that the bitch only made ONE mistake. Her entire existence has been a mistake and every single decision she did in the show has been that.

She has officially taken the crown of being the Bella Swan of anime shows from EVOL's Mikono.

I think people need to be a bit more realistic about the series and why it ended the way it did.

Original stories that air with a break season are different than series based off of a Light Novel or manga source. In the first season they will go sow the seeds of potential plot devices and points. The prince, the future, the Golden 7, all these were potential points of interest for writers.

Once they finish airing season 1 and they get their sales and results, a decision is made on whether or not they want to make a 3rd or 4th season. In this case, Valvrave had bad sales for Season 1, so they did not want to commit to any more than the bare minimum to wrap up this project. If it sold well, would they have done things differently? Absolutely. They leave things vague when they introduce them so they can choose how to develop them.

For example, my theory about the prince was that Haruto's body would be injured beyond immortality, but L-Elf tells him to take over his and sacrifices himself for Haruto, leading to him continuing to live into the future in L-Elf's body, hence explaining the prince's genetics.

You might ask why don't they give closure in Season 2 if they decided to end it? Well, what if Season 2 sells well on the off chance? They still want to leave enough options on the table so that they could start a 3rd season potentially.

Overall, I feel like the last episode felt rushed, but I wasn't running with high expectations given how lukewarm the series has been received. Sunrise really needs to step it up, the last real good anime they produced was either 00 or Code Geass.

Wait, then who's that Prince? Who're his parents? And Shouko, a new Valvrave Pilot? How did they make that country? Who are the Golden Seven?

They better make a movie or OVA or something for a sequel to at least fix those plot holes and make things clearer.

So they finally did it, they killed off Haruto. Nice L-elf & Haruto friendship moments btw. Whenever I see haruto's memory breaking, I get hesitant at watching and say shit, sometimes saying please stahp. As much as I hate to admit it, Haruto's death was already predictable during season 1. I wasn't totally surprised about Shoko taking over Valvrave-01 and living for more than 200 years. I pretty much saw this coming in the middle of the final episode. So Akira, Saki, Shoko, and the president (I forgot his name) lived and is probably continuing Haruto and L-elf's dream since Shoko is seen befriending aliens.

Technically speaking, we don't know if he really is dead. I suspect that prince in the future to be a clone or a product of genetic engineering to transfer Haruto's soul.

its an open ending, its up to the imagination of the viewers, the prince looks like L-Elf anyway so his the father of that boy im sure, as for Shouko yes she became a space vampire too just like Haruto, and they made the country with the help of A-Drei the Dorssian leader of the revolutionary group and L-Elf that is what i can come up with the hints they left

but they can make a season 3 if they wish but that will depend on the sales of the series

again its an open ending its up to the viewers to fill up the gaps in the story what matters is that they did succeed at making a country and i would not be surprise if Dorssia that is now free from the Magius control helped them to make a Galactic Empire later on, the hints are there at the ending anyway since A-Drei will now be the leader of Dorrsia and L-Elf that we know is a genius is still alive and can make things happen

I agree. People are spamming that like headless chickens lol.

Anyways, ending was terrible. They shouldn't have killed Haruto off. I just wanted Haruto to live and be bros with L Elf forever. Valvrave was such an enjoyable anime with such good animation, the ending was a shame.

Assuming? No my friend, it's her nature to be a ditzy cheerleader character so it fits pretty well.

I liked this show very much till episode 23 and it ended in such a disappointing way.........i seriously don't want any continuation/movie/ova from an ending like this. Shoko becoming a valvrave pilot is a disgrace to all the pilots that died i.e. Haruto,Inuzuka,Thunder and this opinion of mine won't change. Neither the fact that this was a terrible way to end a series with such great potential. I will just pretend that this episode didn't exist.

Having a ditzy character does not extend to messing up the valvrave, that is too far fetched. Shoko is carrying the will of Haruto, L-Elf and even lisolette. If anything, she is doing the right thing no.

Wow... This was kinda enjoyable, but at the sametime funny as hell and a trainwreck..
A friend introduced me to this and first season was like a WHAT THE FUCK moment... Like what was I watching.

Then second season came and I was like, pretty good. I'll keep watching this.

That last ep.... I don't even know what to say...

So I think we all know that Haruto will lose all his memory, but why die -.- QQ
I wanted him to be Rukino <3
So is L-elf still alive or is he dead? He was alive for like the wedding but I'm pretty sure he and A-drei ain't immortals like the other valvrave pilots.
So what the hell are the aliens thingy at the end?
Who's the little kid?
L-elf + some random girl?
(thought it was a-drei + rukino for a second but then he has L-elf's hair and face).

Hoping for a season 3 for more entertainment :D

The easiest way I see the prince would have to have Haruto's look and L-Elf's hair would be that when L-Elf regained conscience in the pilot seat because Haruto lost all his runes while bodyjacked he left some genes behind and whoever L-Elf married they'd have that child. However you also have to take in account the 200yr time gap in which alot of things can happen.
The facts are:
1. Shoko, Rukino, and Akina are immortal

2. All mortals/non-students can be considered dead by the statues (any non-v(valvrave)pilots/unshown characters in the 200yr flash forward for simplicity) --plot _____ present--

3. This all takes place after their fight for independence, 200 Years later.

Simply with these three argunment standpoints, without further evidence the Prince's DNA can only match L-Elf as the father and a mysterious woman as the mother. As for explaining the haruto look, it would be left over DNA Haruto left inside L-Elf's blood which could have possbly given him immortality or the genetic mutation to override the eye color to blue. The reason Rukino and Akira are watching the prince would possibly be because the Prince got bored and asked for a story that took 24 episodes to tell because of bad sales. (If this was a gundam it would have lasted 50ep imo)

Other than that there really isn't much anyone can argue unless they absolutely have to ship L-Elf with a present cast other than Lisselotte as the main pairing because there is no interaction between L-Elf and the other characters except that of Leader and Subordinate.

Well this season's ending was satisfying. The ending answered most of my question well at the important ones. The big fight was amazing I was on the end of my chair the entire fight. Haurto lost all his memory this is to be expected. The last few minutes of the episode skipped to the future were Saki Rukino was finishing up the story to what I can finally confirm as L-Elf's child the prince. Overall a fantastic season.

Great series!!!

Yes because we all been waiting to find out that A-Drei marries someone in future!

You have to be fucking kidding me if you actually mean what you said.

Why not? It did answer questions on some of the Magius's motivations as well what would happen to New Jior. I do not see any issue with that. Sure there some gaps open but they can be answered by a potential season 3.

Now i would like to have a proper discussion with you guys--Do you really disapprove of Shoko being Hito's pilot? The way i see it, she has realised her mistakes and is carrying on Haruto's dream and will. Now i am not here to start a war between 2 sides but i want to understand your opinions

I like the ending :)
I was prepared for Haruto's dead...
Ending spoiled it for me... -.-

Even if Haruto lose his memories,
I like authors show that most of Haruto's memories was with Shouko.
Even last memories was Shouko.

So can I believe Haruto/Shouko are canon? *.*
Even without confessions to each other,
even if Haruto lose his memoires...
after all he loved only Shouko,
and it seems that Shouko forever will love him, too! *.*

So... Saki go away with your one-sided love... xD

I don't think Shouko is pilot...
She just wear Haruto's outfit :)

Anyway... I love it!
How many people now must be pissed, because of this!

This is like authors said: F*** you! We don't care you don't like her this is our anime xD

The kid is from 221 year in the future he is a long descendant of L-elf and some girl

There is nothing better to do other than reading this thread while looping Kakumeiki Dualism.
"Children of Japan. And those who were once children. Listen! This is not a dream. This is not fiction. In reality, your superheroes were always fighting. To teach viewers courage and the meaning of justice! No matter how many enemies there are. No matter how strong evil is. Just remember. Does any another country have so many heroes? Has any another country been protected by multiple superheroes? Stand with me, friends! Remember when you used to watch your superheroes!

Wow, I can't believe most people are hating so hard on this oO

I really liked the ending. I don't know maybe it's just me I like "different" endings more than just casual happy endings.

I knew that this was the last episode of the season or even the series in general so i expected it to end rather abruptly.

Why are you all complaining about all those plotholes? Do we really need to see which guy married which girl or when/where and who signed a contract for that 3rd galactic empire? Why? I like if theres room for speculation and they clearly left something open for future OVA / movies etc.

Of course it was not the greatest anime ever but I really enjoyed watching it because of those "shocking" moments and the craziness.

I honestly don't know what to think of the ending. It sure as hell was dissapointing, but it wasn't horrendous. They really should've removed the OP for a bit more of a narration at the ending, though the OP was nice to listen to for the last time :/
Cain's fight with Haruto was great, liked that they atleast showed us Cain's ideologies on the whole matter, but it was a bit late, and a tad bit cliche for them to show us his true idealogies behind what he was doing, and them trying to save him as a character by having him save Plu was kinda nice I guess.
Haruto was suffering till the end, he must've died. L-elf seemed to have at least shown some character development, which makes him a better character in my eyes.

Plot holes, plot holes everywhere!

there are no plot holes its just an open ending that left plenty of hints for you to make assumptions

My thoughts on most people spamming that.
Valvrave was a fun watch, don't think they'll be doing a S3 though. Magius are dead and it would be a bigger trainwreck as shouko being a pilot would be BAD.
I LOL'd when she was wearing no.1's suit

Guise , Shoko is pretty much the pilot of Valvrave 01. She's fucking immortal after 200+ years. Guise , pls guise , pls.

No one cares about its happy or sad style bullshit. The problem is not the tone of the ending, but that it makes no damn sense. At this point - everyone in the main cast being murdered by giant cartoon rabbit and dreaming up the future in their dying moments makes more sense than this shit.

The only one who has been shown to be carrying on Haruto's dream in any way shape or form was shown is Saki.

We should make a petition towards Sunrise. I demand explanations and an in-depth summary. A 1 hour and 30 minutes movie would be good , or a series of OVA or even a new series of Valvrave.

/haters gonna hate/

Ya know, it would of been more of a twist ending if Haruto survived because everyone was expecting him to die in the first place. The ending would have been a lot better as well ;_;. I'll just be in denial and pretend he fell asleep from being tired and woke up a bit later. Would've been perfect then, this end just made me feel dissapointed. It still has potential for other episodes, movies, or OVAs.
