It seems to still be a rumor, with this site having the only "real" article(Any other gaming website just links back to this) on the subject I've been able to find so far, and it was written at the end of September. It's still a little shaky, but Nintendo might officially announce something sometime next year. |

| I could care less about HD, however I will be agreeing that the Wii jumped on this bandwagon way to freakin' late. The ONLY thing I enjoyed about that article was the black Wii, I hope that's a legitimate picture. But yeah, I most likely will not be buying this new console since I a) don't care about HD and b) Can use my money to purchase things I want that I don't already own. |

| Assuming that all it does is display in HD... you can't spend 360 million on R&D only to make the same thing display in a higher resolution... I'd get one, since I don't have one. Also, I'm pretty sure I could spend 360 million on R&D for the DSI and the WiiHD hardware and software improvements, but I am not a games company... and it wouldn't work. I'd like to bring back the #casts a wider net# argument, since I'm not caught yet, I can say that this might catch me and others like me. |

| Tbh i dont see whats wrong with the wii's graphics, sure compare it up to the ps3 and xbox 360 there not great but thats what i liked about nintendo, they didnt do what sony and microsoft did and focus far to much on graphics at least the wii has an original way of gameplay instead of the normal button tapping. But still wii hd doesnt really bother me, the wiis graphics are good enough as they are, so what if there not as realistic as the ps3 / xbox 360 its a game it doesnt need to be so realistic does it? remember classics like th original super mario the original final fantasys or what ever? when they first came out the graphics for then were amazing,but most people dont see it like that anymore apperntly the graphics matter more than the game itself now. Seriously if the games good who cares about graphics? |

Just try and improve the games (and help developers utilise the capabilities of the Wii better) and reap the rewards. The only thing preventing me from buying a Wii is the fact that I would probably only buy about 4 or 5 games and then hardly play it. There isn't enough interest there for Core or Hardcore gamers. The Wii's 'thing' was innovation. It should stick to that. |
