| didn't expect to see Aisha there but the second she started acting up i knew she would get in trouble for it. didn't think she was going to get in the race though. I had a feeling gene was going to pick the most dangerous way. this whole race should be quite interesting. |

| I'm excited for the race now. One thing that was odd was that (at least in the dub) they say that the race has no reward but then say it does. Not really sure what it is supposed to be. Anyway, the rest of the episode was great. |
| This is why I'm more leaning towards Outlaw Star than Cowboy Bebop. Outlaw Star focuses more on world building and slowly introducing us to different places, cultures etc. Heifong is an interesting place and obviously China based, but future proof. Most of the time in Cowboy Bebop. We only see some gilmpse of the city, but it's mostly rundown areas and the pace focuses too much on moving one spot to the next instantly. I like this taking their time and sucking up the atmosphere. It really potrays the Space Pirate/Adventure much more realistic. Let's see how Gene will win the race :D |

| So now Gene and the crew are now entering a race to spread the word about Outlaw Star and pretty much make a name for themselves. And Aisha is back! Just the moment she recognised that Gene was the one talking to her, hilarity ensued for me. It's good to see her again. Looks like Suzkua's betting on the Outlaw Star actually winning the race when she stated quite clearly that she had no interest in the race whatsoever. Even more interesting still, is Melfina asking Gilliam to find any information on who she is as well. But sadly he can't find anything that would help her but at the very least he's trying to help her which I think is quite nice really. Kind of a set up episode for the race in general but I'm honestly hyped to know what happens next because damn that cliffhanger. I want more damn it! Good episode regardless though. |
