| I loved the first season, but imo the second season was epic fail so I hope if they'll make a third one they'll make it better. The movie was the best. |

| I am pretty sure, there will be a 3th season. Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is just too popular and too good, that they are going to waste that potential. Plus, it would be a lot better than most animes, which were released simultaniously. I am quite sad about the fact, that Endless 8 had such a negative impact on the fan community, that they probably stopped working on the 3th season. |

| I really don't get the reason why there is no third season so far. The series is pretty popular and there is plenty of material to work with. The onyl reason they probably haven't been making a season 3 yet is the fan's anger about endless eight...but seriously, that was entirely their fault. It was just a short chapter in the novel, so why base HALF of the whole season about it? We can only hope there is gonna be a thirds season nevertheless eventually. In the meantime, I still have to read the english translation of the eight book that has been releasedin December yet^^ |

| I'd imagine they'll wait till "The Surprise (second half)" is published in English before they release it.. "The Dissociation and both halves of "The Surprise" could make an interesting Movie Trilogy, seeing as it's one huge story arc.. That is, if they show the events of "Snowy Mountain Syndrome" and "The Intrigues" in some miniseries this year or next.. (Pure Speculation, of course) |

| I hope it won't take that long. Since the first half of the novel will be released in September 2013 it would probably mean that the second part will be sometime in mid 2014. That would take too long! Is the second half the last book anyway? I hope not. Nevertheless, there is a lot of material for a third season and I'll just pray that it will happend eventually...hopefully this year. I personally don't care about the "scandal" with Aya Hirano...so she had sex with them, who cares? :-O |

| I'm pretty sure that scandal is the reason for no season 3. Like someone else said before Aya Hirano is Haruhi Suzumiya. Not saying that's the only reason though. Still wanting a season 3 T___T |

| KyoAni have been suspiciously quiet lately, and I read that March 28 (the last episode of Tamako Market) will be the first time since 2004 that Kyoto hasn't had a project either airing or announced as in development. To me this sounds like they are building up anticipation for something - maybe a return to one of their franchises. Will it be Haruhi? I certainly hope so. |

So, if I understand this correctly, someone tweeted the CEO of Kodakawa that they were anticipating Haruhi Season 2. His response was something along the lines of "we already did season 2. You mean season 3." If I was a gambling man, I would bet that KyoAni will announce their next show during the Tamako Market finale, and this tweet at this particular time is very interesting... |

| Some people says that KyoAni don't want to do more than 2 seasons of any of their animes. It's one of their principles. |
| Season 3 isn't going to come out within the next 10 years because they're working on Endless 15,532. Expect the first episode to come out Spring 2025 and the finale to end Winter 2324. |

I would personally rather that they have the right voices I personally hate when shows change VAs during the show. But if it means no third season...find the next closest, and best voice Japan has and get it done. |

| It's 2014...Well, no news for the Season 3 :( Come on, i'm just watch 2 seasons+1 movie yesterday, and yeah..The Endless Eight give me boring times.... But, the anime got his souls again in the movie! come one! KyoAni! I want the comeback of SOS Brigade! >.< |
