I have an odd recommendation request... I've watched "I My Me Strawberry Eggs" recently, and although it was stated as a comedy type of anime, I really liked it for what plot it had with the romance and the guy having to hide his identity. Does anyone have recommendations of anime similar? Here's my list: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/lonewolf80 |

It's got very depressing moments as well as very uplifting moments. The main theme is about overcoming your past and moving on. The ending is somewhat open to interpretation, and it's up to the viewer if its a happy or sad resolution. I highly recommend it for anyone that's looking for a unique story with interesting characters. |

It can make you smile, cry, laugh, excited more than you thought it would in its 13 short episodes. Keep in mind that each person sees an anime differently and no matter what you hear the only person who can really decide how an anime rates is you. Based on your animelist, since that is all I know about you, I think you will love Angel Beats. It has action and tragedy like Guilty Crown, it has a strong love story like Toradora, even though there is no Romance tag on in MAL, and it can make you laugh as mush as Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai. This anime has a little bit of everything, but what I loved it for most was its character development and learning about each of the characters past. I agree with what the other posters before me say, with that it is not for the faint of heart and that its not for everyone. Ultimately its your choice. Take a shot, its only 13 episodes. If you do decide to watch it, let me know what you think of it. TL;DR: I think it's awesome and you should definitely try it. Also I forgot to mention Kokoro Connect as part of my summer anime recommendation. |

Does anyone have recommendations of anime similar? Here's my list: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/lonewolf80 You seem to have gotten ignored, so I will try to give you a good recommendation. I have not seen "I My Me Strawberry Eggs" yet so I cannot give a direct recommendation, but I will try to suggest some good romances that aren't already on your list. Kage Kara Mamoru - A decent anime where the male lead cannot let the female lead know he is her bodyguard. Kinda generic. Rosario Vampire - Another decent anime where the male lead cannot reveal the fact that he is human. Generic, very generic and has lots of fan service if that is/isn't your thing. Nothing else comes to mind in regard to hiding identities, but I haven't seen that much anime. Here are some other good romances that are not on your list and, in my opinion are better than the ones I recommended above, but you have liked anime i did not and vice versa, so who knows. Spice and Wolf Kimi ga Nozomu Ein Ouran High School Host Club Love Hina Kobato. Futakoi Kannagi Higashi no Eden |

Looking for a long anime sorta like Higurashi, but doesn't have to be exactly like it! I want something that's like 25+ episodes or two series, that makes you think super hard with some horror elements! Is there anything like it? |

Most of the horror series seem to be on the shorter side, but you do have Shiki on your list . True it is shorter than 22, but far longer than the 13 most horror/psychological series are. You also have Claymore on your list, and it is 26 episodes. |

Can anyone recommend me an anime about pursuit, persecution? Like main character has to run and hide from his/her pursuers so they cannot find him/her? It would better be without comedy and it should have suspense. |

Denpa teki na Kanojo - 2 ep. Yeah... It could be more but they are very intense. Kara no Kyoukai - Seven amazing movies. Mirai Nikki - 26 ep. looking for anime with psychopaths, sociopaths, or just badasses/people with a don't give two shits about anyone attitude. like mugen (samurai champloo), light (death note), claire (baccano!), or izaya (durarara!!). anti-heroes are fine, but i'd prefer if they didn't have a single moral fiber in their bodies |

hi there. could anyone look at my Anime list and give me a recommendation? I guess I'm a bit cliche in my tastes, but I love Cowboy Bebop, FMA Brotherhood, and Gurren Lagann. I tell people I don't need to watch anymore anime after watching those three, because they were so good. I WANT to watch more though, and I'd like to add another great to those three. Any great recommendations someone can guarantee I'd enjoy? |

Code Geass is a lot like Death Note so I'd really advise you to just continue on watching, it gets a lot better :D Also Ao no Exorcist starts off pretty slow but gets better aswell, I can't exactly remember the details as it's been a while since I watched but I remember really enjoying it. While we're at it, would anyone mind going through my (small) list and recommend some things I might enjoy, I'm running a bit dry when it comes to stuff I really want to watch (my PTW list right now is basically stuff that seems a bit interesting, not a whole lot) I loved Death Note, Code Geass, Air Gear and Beelzebub, thanka youuu in advance ^^ |

I'm looking for a good anime, i'm a tolerant person with 3 exceptions: 1. no shounen, shojo ai. (i'm not a hater for it in real life, but it's hard for me to watch it) 2. no rape 3. main characters not fat or ugly. Generic , average and below average are all fine (example would be accel world, i know i'm missing out, but it bothers me too much to watch it) Sorry I know I'm asking for something extremely vague, but anything that you guys liked, that i haven't watched and isn't the above 3 is fine with me. Help me out please Thanks in advance. |

#3, really? Ok then, If you're going to be that vague, then I'll get a bit of a spread of genres. Chobits - Mostly comedy, a bit of romance ef - a tale of memories. - REALLY heavy in romance and drama School Rumble - One of the greatest romantic comedies, despite not being entirely romantic. xxxHOLiC - A comical anime about spirits that remains episodic for the most part FLCL - The most odd yet appealing anime. Not sure how this fits with your 3rd rule's opinion, but it's overall really great. Princess Mononoke - Not sure how to describe this for some reason. It's my favorite of what I've seen of anime movies. I'll just recommend those until you have more specifics or are happy with some of these. |

I watched most of the well known animes pretty much, recently i got bored and finished pretty much half of the slice of life and romance genre, just because it's probably the genre with the most quantity. most of the titles you gave me I at least heard of. I've actually finished holic, and read school rumble manga. ef tale i completed as well, i didn't know how to rate it, so i left it off my list. I ll check out chobits and princess mononoke. appreciate the response. Anyone else with suggestions is welcome as well since i'm just basically looking for something i haven't seen. Thanks again. |
