| As it implies with the new merchandise. SAO is going towards the road of ecchi marketing. Why and for what reasons other than $$$? Let’s see, Asuna in the following,  Seems to suggest more of her body being revealed in a most conservative teasing means to ends of $$$? I wonder if the studio is running low now? Certainly it is questionable why the low means of fan service despite working out most likely. The rest in the list:

| As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. You see stuff like this pretty common even if it isn't a ecchi based aniime they will release ecchi based merchandise fans love it and, it makes them money. |

| i dont think they will do such a thing when it isn't really part of the story line and when this anime is rated 13+, if its merchandise for the older viewers or maybe extras in the DVDs then its perfectly fine |

| ^ god i really hope they do not imitate those animes, it would be too much btw it may just be me but i think asuna looks more beautiful in the novel illustrations than in the anime, the same goes for the other girls, even kirito had more of an older look in the illustrations.....well that could be because of the timeskip but its not like the anime did a bad job of the artwork though, they still look good |

| One bath scene is ecchi? Like every friggin show nowadays has a bath scene/and or episode (Hyouka does), so I don't think this is anything to worry about! |

| Considering that in the end even with all the moral guardians expounding about the amount of "ecchi" being made for SAO, there will be fanart alongside these lines. Might as well make money off it if it sells. IDK, I stopped being "shocked" about these things for a while now and have started to appreciate the art. |

| i have to admit, i was laughing when i read "2 years worth of semen" on bakatsuki also now that i think about it, i do sort of approve of this in a way, sex sells and they could use the money to fund another season, make OVA's and other things however if they put more ecchi in the SAO anime than needed like episode 4, it would really suck |

| Eh it's ecchi, who cares? It's harmless. SAO has always been kinda ecchi anyway, considering the LN's usually dedicates one of it's few pictures to fanservice. |
