| Any recommendations for shows where a main character greatly impresses other characters by exceeding their expectations. Examples: Skip Beat! - Mogami impresses prejudiced doubters with her talent and determination. Great Teacher Onizuka - Onizuka earns the trust of a disillusioned class of delinquents. Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari - Kenshi constantly wins the adoration of everyone with his power, genius, and angelic character. | No you don't have to watch Fate Stay Night at all for Fate Zero. It's a "nice to have" to know a bit about what's the background story, but that's all there is to it. Don't waste time on FSN. It's a disappointment. |

| Something like Clannad, probably the best would be Air or Kanon (2006), from the same producer as Clannad. Other than that, I'd say Honey and Clover. As for fighting+romance... Tenjou Tenge, Ranma ½. |
