Oh wow, a manga/work that is at the same level of creativity and world building as Kubera and Tower of God... the bar is sure set high on that, but I agree. After reading so many shounen/shoujo or anything with similar elements, whenever I'm on the hunt it's mainly for anything interesting. Have you read the manga called NG Life? It's a story on reincarnation but with a twist to it.

[Black Haze] I don't believe it was due to the Raven King. Since in the first demon door arc Kiel always would talk on how if he were to find his younger brother once again he would raise him and teach him magic if he was talented enough - so I'm assuming that somewhere along in there Rood picked up how to fight.

Ahahahahah omg just thinking about those scenes again... can't... stop... laugh-.... phfft! The characters in Haze are so amazing, where obv for fans like us we just can't get enough of it.

Anyways.. I can't wait to see how the latest chapters will play out. I seriously wonder how Rood will act in terms of the test, will he fight using some of the known magic spells instead of purely his mana as he did until now? Ugghhh just waiting for two more days is killing me already!

Ahaha that is no problem, I honestly don't support the whole Blow/Rood X Shic ship that is going on. I mean, no matter how classic the two were I want my romance, where in terms of shipping I support Iel X Rood more. But other than that I would say there isn't too much of that there, the forums mainly has more discussions and fanart/fanfic sharing going on.

[Novel] That sounds cool! I've only read of fantasy novels where only a person worked solo on it so I'd be interested to see how you & the groups will go. With a variety of minds it'd be cool to see many perspectives of different characters - where like in a role play each person would come up with their own character and nicely integrate them into the main story-line.. But is there a main character and a general synopsis?

[Avabel] Yup, and hence they are why I prefer playing games on PC more than on mobile. The game in general used to have so many crashes & bugs and with the way the main towers are set-up the only thing which have Avabel going for them is the graphics. Are there any other games you're playing during spare time?

[Black Haze] If I were Rood in his current situation, I would go "what is this???" Ahaha, but seriously for me it was around the same time as well when I picked up this work too, when the chapters were still around finishing the Ishuella arc then. I still can't get over the fact how, well being the best magician there is, Blow saved the day! The reaction on the characters' faces were too hilarious! XD I swear even though I & the other fans know there is the gripping emotional backstory and plot to this work, at times I can't help but not take moments of this story seriously because Yong just loves to trol the readers too much. Yeah, so rereading the webtoon while seeing Kiel say those lines were touching and yet ......

Say, what was your favorite gag/hilarious moment? Mine would probably have to be the moment where the Helios students blamed Chevel for having them attack the Tower magicians. The way they were sitting in traditional Korean style just made be think "Gad, they're such a bunch of kids". Which was funny, considering they were the so-called "powerful students" of Helios. Phhhhffft.

Shicmuon and even Tessiana definitely does break the normal archetypes. Though while Shic has the reason of wanting to see the Raven King's power in Rood (not Blow's), I think Tessiana just has a thing for not wanting to lose to anyone. But still they are awesome in that trolling sense. My last question to you here -> have you seen the forums for Black Haze?

[Anime & Fantasy] So you mean to say genres like fantasy? Or characters using superpowers? I would agree as well, since for fantasy I believe that by depending on how the world is built & powers (if there) are created things can get very creative to play around with; and I just simply love figuring out in detail how the powers in the story would work.

That's cool! So are you guys writing a collab novel? What's the story about? I read tons of fantasy literature as well when I have the time so it'd always be nice to hear of some more!

RWBY has a lot of mixed opinions from the watchers, and I can understand why. It's an American anime where each episode is around 8 minutes on average so the story may feel lacking in terms of execution; and some people might not like the animation style in the beginning and get turned off from watching it. But get past that and you have what are some of the most epic action scenes, unique dual-function weapons the character use, and great soundtrack. If you're interested, just watch this and decide on about from there.

[Avabel] Yeah the game certainly keeps on adding more udpates to the English servers, where one of the most recents I heard was that they finally added in a guild hall feature. Now that I wish something like it was there, since it was trouble trying to have many guild members meet around & hang in one place in the past >_>. I guess you weren't on those days where the 30% bonus loot, exp, jxp rates were added onto the game for a day on certain times? Now that I think about it, I wonder if they still do that anymore.

I agree completely! I can't say Haze was my first webtoon I read but after reading a couple of chapters in I couldn't leave the page at all! Though really, being Black Haze its all to be expected pretty much. XD I really love Yong and the way he/she just comes up with the story ideas. The only problem - not so much of a problem but more of a concern - is that the story is currently too linear, focused on the humans VS demons get go. I mentioned this in the Haze forums but I really do hope Yong introduces the world more in terms of other countries, kingdoms, and so on. It'd be interesting to see what the author comes up with I think and make the story much more vibrant than what it already is.

But my most favorite character? Probably Shicmuon & Tessiana, since it's thanks to them I now believe that stalking people is pretty much the norm in that world. Ahahaha. Who are you crushing on right now, if any? :P

Cool! So something like around Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Shinobi Life would be more along your alley huh? I also love supernatural and fantasy in terms of preferences for genre, but I guess I love exploring the world of those settings & more particularly the powers the characters would use. The most interesting animation I saw in terms of weapons would be RWBY. Man, the different weapon combinations characters use there are just so amazing.

Haha ikr, it's not like everyone has a great amount of time just trying to farm for those things. Considering the very bad economy system the game had too. I found it annoying after playing for a while, how there was no real premise of a quest story and the main leveling up of the game was pure grind grind grind. What classes were you playing then?

Haha no problem! It's always really great meeting another fellow fan of a series, especially this one which I think the webtoon is just simply interesting and unpredictable. I like your ratings for the other webtoons as well, all of them were great! Especially Kubera, unTouchable and ToG, the world setting and story for them are unique. Is there any particular favorite you have among them?

Yeah I used to play Avabel in the past, back when they only had the basic classes and no advanced ones then. Are you playing the game currently?

Many Uni's waiver tution fee's and there are lots of opportunities to get scholarships too.But it depends on what your parent institute is, and getting into a good one is, as everyone knows, hard enough.I did think about going on an exchange program some months back, but not seriously enough.Its a pain searching up equivalent courses and getting all the approvals done.Plus if you are pursuing a Minor, you will have to talk with that dept too.Or maybe i am just reluctant in trying out something new, i don't know.

Black Haze has started again, right?I am still in thee 102nd chapter, after which it went on hiatus.Tower of God's 'Revolution Road' arc has ended, so i think i'll pick it up again soon.I have paused all my manga and manhwa activity because for some reason, i cant both watch anime and read manga/manhwa in the same week or so.

I could'nt watch more than 1 episode of Ouran High School Host Club.It felt like one of those TV dramas which air in South Korea and Japan.I did check out Akatsuki no Yona on MAL before, but it did'nt catch my attention.

Have you heard about 'Working!!'?I am stoked about its 3rd season, which starts sometime in July.I dont know if you read comics, i infrequently do, but if have not read 'The Killing Joke' and 'The Long Halloween', you must check them out.They are the best Batman comics i have read, and yes, i love Batman.I have a pretty big collection of comics(digital), but i cant find the time to read them.And 'Gravity Falls' is a must watch cartoon.It is an excellent mix of comedy, mystery and adventure.

Oh, i forgot the fact that BITS also has a Dubai campus, do you mean to say that you want to study there?

Many of my friends who watch anime only watch Naruto, One Piece, Bleach or old CN stuff like Pokemon(very few).Too bad they are'nt watching the ones which are actually good.

Watch the original 1995 GITS movie first, it is a masterpiece.Though i only gave an 8 to it, it was way ahead in animation and storytelling for it's time.And it's just an hour and a half long too.

So do you mean to say that you would like an opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student?If that is the case, then i know for a fact that even good government institutes(IIT's, NIT's and maybe others) have tie ups with many foreign Uni's for semester exchange programs.
But of course, BITS is also a very good institute and i hear it's more 'global', or atleast that's what my opinion is.

Trust me, Berserk is average if you take away the 'Golden Age arc'.I have said it once and i'll say it again, it's nearly perfect.After that arc, some generic Shonen cliches start creeping into the manga, and they are irritating.Also, some small arc's were pointless.

Have you read Oyasumi Punpun, i think i have already asked you this question, so humor me if if i indeed have.It's a must read, the art itself is enough to pick it up, but it's got an awesome story to go with it too.

I can't stand cheesy stuff much.I did watch Lovely Complex pretty recently, but it was taxing and i watched it over an extended period of time.I tried watching Kimi ni Todoke more recently, but i could'nt stand more than 2 or 3 eps.I hated pretty much everything about it.But if the show does'nt take itself too seriously, then i can watch it, i think.

Well, I've just completed the next big arc in Berserk after the near perfect 'Golden Age Arc' and i must say, it's disappointing.Not disappointing when judged on its own merit, but definitely a step down from the 'Golden Age Arc'.
I think i will go on Berserk hiatus for a long time now, as i'm 176 chapters in and getting involved more in it will not be good for my health.

Well, i watched some eps of Naruto and One Piece way back when it used to air on CN, but i don't want to watch long titles, as i feel i can just watch a lot of smaller anime in their stead.I just leave my ratings as they are, partly because it's too tiresome and partly because i feel i usually rate anime subjectively, and in that sense, they were worth their ratings back then.Of course if my opinion changes drastically, i will change the rating no matter what.

I watched quite a sizable number of harems in my time, but stopped watching them once the idiocy of it all started to intrude on the enjoyment i derived from it.

I've watched the Baccano anime and like it very much, in fact, it was in my favorites for a long time, and had to be removed only because i am a big fan of comedy and had to make place for some of my fav titles in that genre.But i have'nt read the Baccano LN's, and don't think i will.

I've only watched the GITS movies till now, and the original movie is very good.I've heard a lot of good things about the Stand Alone Complex series, and look forward to watching it.

Wait, i am slightly confused.Here i was thinking that you were in college or Uni, and you have yet to take your BITSAT?!I mean, we are nearly the same age but i've finished my second year!Granted, i thought that i started a year early, but still it's a small shock.
Some of my friends are studying in BITS, but i am not sure who, as i don't keep in touch much.Of course this does'nt actually matter one bit anyway.

Well, i am not sure what you mean by sins, but if you meant the Homunculi, then lust has died recently.

Yes, tastes change a lot after watching a lot of anime.In the beginning, almost anything with a decent story was enough to make me like it, and hence the 8's and 9's i gave them.Of course, i will not change them now to the rating they probably should have got.

I hate harems with all my soul. i just can't stand them.It is very hard to find a pure comedy with nearly equal number of both boys and girls, and so many comedies i watch only feature girls, because it's hard to find comedies which only have boys.

I like my adventure/action/fantasy anime to be more serious and not have contrived jokes inserted in them, and those are also hard to find.

The most common ones are those which are a mix of comedy, harem and fantasy and that's the worst kind, for me.

I either love comedies or hate them, there is no middle ground for me when it comes to them.
I will atleast watch 2 ep before discarding an anime, though some extraordinarily bad titles shave been dropped after 1 ep, tbh i knew they were'nt my type, but i wanted to atleast watch and then see for myself.
