I think I vaguely remember shipping two girls in Haibane Renmei together when I watched it, but I don't remember who since its been such a long time since I've seen the series. Hitomi x Julia (ICE)(Well, Julia's shown to be clearly attracted to women and the two had some tension between them. Hitomi, however, has repeatedly told Yuki throughout the series that she doesn't like women in that way. Still it kind of seemed like Julia and Hitomi might've had something that had gone on between them in the past though.) Hitomi x Yuki(ICE) (Sadly, only one-sided since Hitomi doesn't seem to return Yuki's feelings.) | Since Hibike! Euphonium is still fresh in my mind, I will absolutely have to say that Kumiko and Reina or Kumiko and Asuka would make great couples. Still at a debate with myself as to what the writing suggests, but is strong evidence to show that Kumiko could be romantically interested in Reina and Asuka. There are a few others in Hibike that make some sense like Natsuki and Yuuko. |
