| Alright this is being produced by Gainax, so I'm trying to see what the length could be for the series, their longest series is 39 episodes, and they only have like 5 24-26 episode animes, most of their animes is either 12 or 13 episodes. The ratings probably won't be outstanding cause the manga sells about 100,000 copies, which is averge for decent shounen jump series. On the other hand the author novels and ovas are pretty popular like Bakemonogatori,Nisemonogatori,etc so I can see this being popular on TV since the author is famous for other manga on the other hand this isn't any like her other series it is another school shounen. I'm leaning towards this being a 13 episode series or a 26 episode series if we're lucky. |

Don't quote me on this. That sounds about right. I feel that ~12 episodes won't properly capture the series' appeal. ~24 episodes, ending with the Minus Arc finale sounds good. Of course, we won't know until the anime's first episode is closer to release. |
| Wouldn't mind for a longer series 52-104 episodes, seems like the manga is well received and we need more long non action/sports anime series. |

| The only thing I'm certain about is that they can't get to the most popular character in 12 episodes. One way or another, they'll need at least 24. I hope they just rush through the first two arcs. Especially the second one, it sucked. |
| The best way I see it is ending it at the Flask plan without ever introducing Kumagawa, that would take probably 24-26 episodes. They'd have to rush it a bit if they want to finish the Minus arc. Actually, I think if they can neglect Kumagawa altogether then the show can be just as good, if not better. Yes he is awesome but he kind of singlehandedly bought another arc, and the arc after that (Minus, Not Equals). Then again... Medaka's character doesn't feel right without an antithesis. :/ |

| Oh looky, it is going to be aired by TV Tokyo, I can assure you this will be at least 50 episodes, weekly jump series+tv tokyo, defiantly 50 episodes or more. Bleach just ended to, they need a series that people will be able to watch for a long time. |

| Hopefully they focus more on the story and not the ecchi because i could very well seem them doing fillers like the first few chapters felt (aside from the introductory chapters, some felt unneeded) Not showing Kumagawa would fail big time; the anime to be any success needs to get into the more serious arcs and breeze by the first few chapters quickly. |

| Why it could be longer: It's nisiOisin, it will probably sell like pancakes. Why it could suck and be short: From the looks of the staff, this is basically Gainax's second league (at best) team, in charge of the not-so-good Gainax series. But hey, if Sunrise's C-league could take T & B and make it huge, who knows... Why it should be longer: Kumagawa. |

Not sure have not read the manga, but beelzebub was at chapter 98 at the end of episode 45(http://beelzebub.wikia.com/wiki/There%27s_One_Day_and_1_Hour_Left_Until_the_Game). It finished at episode 60 at like chapter 123. Oh yeah another thing Bakemonogatori and Nisemonogatori is very popular over here in the states, when crunchyroll streamed Nisemonogatori(without even streaming the first) it was 4th most popular simulcast, only beaten out by gintama,bleach and naruto and I think it was getting close to beating out gintama. Very amazing, considering the first wasn't streamed on crunchyroll, it probably would have beaten out bleach if the first was streamed haha. Medeka box is made by the same creators so it should do good. |

| I can't even count how many anime are said to have up to 13 episodes and THEN get 2nd season several months later. Medaka Box isn't your typical fighting shounen or ecchi harem (or food fight anime) for the creator to immediatelly know it will get popular. They probably want to test its popularity and how it fares against competition. Anyway, nothing is lost and if it's popular, then it will certainly get more than 12 episodes. |
