| Has anyone else seen this countdown? If anyone doesn't know he's an anime reviewer on youtube that does quite funny anime reviews, but recently he's just finished his list of the "coolest" anime characters. It's quite long but its very entertaining, he manages to go very indepth with his choices while still keeping some very funny commentary. You can the video's below: Or if you're too lazy to watch the videos (which I would recommend for his explanations), here are list of the characters: My thoughts: Personally I think the number one choice was a bit cliched since EVERYONE has put him at the top of their list, and I'm still a bit skeptical that aizen made it in there. Also a bit disappointed that lelouch didn't make the top 20 despite getting an hounarable mention but apart from that, a very solid top 20. |

| Wow, very funny and well done video, thanks for posting it! He wasn't kidding about the spoilers though, so do beware. The only thing I see missing is a character from Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Yang Wenli perhaps? Or maybe Reinhard? |

| like hei, shizuo, aizen, and light, but i think light shud be higher on the list. and this guy mostly watches action anime the most im guessing so its sorta one sided.other than that, it was quite well done. |

| Steve Blum as Spike is infinitely cooler than Wakamoto as Vicious. Wakamoto is novelty, certainly not an amazing voice actor. |

| He's a "god" in his field because he's a novelty act and people like novelty. Yes, Blum is massively better than Wakamoto, even the English Wakamoto equivalent Michael McConnohie is better than Norio. |

| I have seen Wakamoto in; Azumanga Daioh Code Geass Enma Kun FT Gintama HayaCon Hellsing Mezzo Forte Mirai Nikki Myself ; Yourself Nichijou Pokemon Tetsuwan Birdy Decode and probably others and he's used the same voice Blum showed more variety in Naruto and his Bebop/Champloo digs. Also you can take all the lessons in the world and not gain taste. |

| Forgot about Reuental, It's certainly better voice acting than most of his others but still my opinion still stands, there are FAR greater voice talents out there. All that list of names tells me is that you should really stop caring about reputation and what other people thing and form your own opinions. Honestly who cares if Tamio Ohki was the second most "legendary" cartoon voice actor in 1997, I doubt even Tamio Ohki cares. |

| What the... This list contains mostly dumb or popular characters. I mean seriously a person called alucard is never cool just because of the ff-ing name. Here's what's missing at least: Michiko Malandro (Michiko to Hatchin) Balsa (Seirei no Moribito) Birdy (Tetsuwan Birdy) Armitage (Armitage III) Revi (Black Lagoon) Amano Jyaku (Urotsukidouji) Shiki Ryougi (Kara no Kyoukai) ...the list goes on and on. If anything Major Motoko Kusanagi is cooled than any on that list. Especially Vash... seriously people. |

| The fact some were in dubbed decreased their coolness for me. Especially Onizuka, Kamina and Johann. I think the list is pretty respectable, though I think Lelouch should have featured on it, rather than only being honourably mentioned. |
