| I think the reason why Shirushi didn't sell as much as Endless Story is because it didn't air as an OP theme, big mistake, how the hell you are going to buy a song that's not even possible to listen to beforehand in the anime, which is the other mistake, releasing it so early, it should have been like Treasure! done in 1 episode of the anime then have it up for sale afterwards, and if C3 is a 2 cour anime then the too early mistake will be really obvious. |

Still, CDs aren't so front-loaded... if it becomes popular later with more use, it'll sell over time. We just might not see in the rankings. Not really, they're close to even. You're right, it could sell overtime but still it's a risky move and it has a chance of not paying off in the future. |
