I usually watch anime on Saturday late night, starting at 11 pm or 12 pm, clean a bit, take a shower, curl up by my computer (desktop), and watch for a few hours strictly with out interruptions.

I watch anime on my desktop, but sometimes I will switch to my laptop because it's a bit more convenient at times. I'm almost always in my room, sitting on my executive chair or in my bed when its late at night and I can't go to sleep or am too bored. One horrible thing I tend to do is watch anime while doing homework, which gets me crap grades. >.<

When I began to watch anime I used stream sites.
But nowadays I prefer downloading, if I'm really interested in an anime. I still watch streams but only if I can't find a good download possibility or if the anime is not interesting enough for me to download it.
For anime, I really loved I also buy the DVDs and enjoy the re-watching with a better sound system at my TV at home.

Most of my anime is watched at night on my iPod touch so I usually watch online. Youtube is good, but vtap.com searches youtube, myspace, mega upload and more, then automatically converts it to iPod format. I will download the series' that I watch and burn them off so I can keep them though.

At first I watch the first couple eps of an anime, if its good
I download it, if not then ill just watch it streaming, if its really
bad ill drop it. Sometime I purchase DVD's though, but I cant
get myself to go outside. I watch my anime's at crunchyroll but if
its already licensed, then I look around.

I download from animenuke.com
I prefer the .rmbv format episodes becuase it is quicker to direct download then and they take up less room. The quality isn't too bad. Besides, if I like an anime enough I buy the DVDs when they come out and get DVD quality that way.
I used to download with bittorrent and had a huge collection on .avi format episodes, but it was too slow and awkward for me.
I very very very rarely watche anime on youtube. When I do it is the English dubs just to see if it is any good before I get the DVD.

Check out SunnyCon! The North-East of England's newest and biggest convention of anime, manga and Japanese culture!
Now a club on MAL too!

It's not that bad (most of the time), it's easy, it's free, it's fast AND it doesn't eat my download capacity!

I hate streaming sites. I seriously can't begin to understand why people choose to watch it online with average to crap quality instead of downloading a file that looks as awesome as the pic above.

It's not that bad? Bah, I'm too spoiled by HQ to understand.

BitTorrent. I prefer to get things that will be as high quality as possible. That way, in case it doesn't get licensed, I have a decent archived copy.

My process is I download .torrent files then drop them into a hot folder on the server I run at home. This is handy because I can drop things in there even from across the Internet, if I'm not home. Azureus will see the files and download the torrent to a downloads folder. From there, I can use my laptop to remotely control the computer hooked to my TV, copy down what I want to watch, and play it on the big screen. I could watch streaming sites on the TV that way, but it would look like hell so I'd rather not.
