I download the raws and I asked a friend of mine to alert the two fansub groups about it. Probably, next week, the subs will be out.

Anyway this is going to be a spoiler in your part but it's satisfying conclusion. I'll give my overall review on this episode once the subs are out

Yo guys! Subs are out now.

It seems that they brought in the February 26 incident

So, in the end, it's unknown whether Kazura (who eventually joined the rebellion) is either arrested or dead. Of course, we never know since Yukina doesn't know his real name.

I'm pretty sure that Kazura survived or escaped after the rebellion failed due to his ability. But if he's executed or killed, that sucks. Oh well, it's just like that Tom Cruise movie, Valkyrie.

saw it on the morning of 26th Feb :P
The specials were really good, in fact its one of the only rare exception where special episodes are at least as good as the main series, if not better. This ep was great, but it could have been at least 10-15 mins longer, but its alright. This was a really good epilogue.
"...our faces marked by toil, by deceptions, by success, by love; our weary eyes looking still, looking always, looking anxiously for something out of life, that while it is expected is already gone – has passed unseen, in a sigh, in a flash – together with the youth, with the strength, with the romance of illusions.” - Joseph Conrad ('Youth')

And again, my post disappears. 3... no, 4 times now D: This is getting annoying. Maybe I should just lay off and try another day instead?
But of course, just because I say that, it suddenly works.

I watched it today (27th) : <
Anyway, I got my Shizune(×Aoi)-ending, so I'm happeh.
And it was an interesting episode as well.

Though it's kinda sad that these actually interesting anime are so scarce these days. ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌
Protip: I don't really check the forums anymore, so if you want something, take it on my profile.
Is it time for my long-awaited return to the forums? щ(゚Д゚щ) Nope™, probably not.

I was semi-disappointed with this last episode. The bit of closure for Aoi was nice, but I was more interested in what happened to Kazura.

That's up to the viewer to decide if you based it on Kazura's personality and even the aftermath of the event. Though it's a possible that he's going to end up as a martyr.

Great epilogue to an underrated series.

I will like to believe that Kazura is still alive and doing well. Because if Yukina didn't knew his real name he could have been killed and in order for the creators to not bring that up and make it more sad, they use the Yukina excuse (not knowing kazura's real name). But I will like to think that that excuse is also valid to think that Kazura is still alive. Anyways Aoi appearing at the end was surprising and great plus with Shizune :) but I felt sad for Yukina, probably because she will be all alone now. Great ending and an applause this series receives from me. I hope series like this come more in the future, I'm gonna miss this type of anime.

Well, yeah she's alone but Aoi never said he was leaving. He will likely drop by or write her a letter. The only one who truly goes MIA is Kazura and it goes with his personality. He was spoonfed all his life about national pride and honor. Add that and how he's living in troubled times and it was almost a given he would have joined some revolution and ended up a martyr of the cause.

So now instead of Aoi being MIA it is Kazura X_X . . . Oh well, anyways I'm somewhat glad that Aoi was able to get back together with Shizune, however I think Yukina's life is rather sad now . . . She lost her brother and Natsume, as well as her friends (who I think she, most of all, enjoyed having together) drifted apart. She seems really lonely now. But oh well. Anyways kind of like the resolution of this series.

See I knew Aoi made it through, and he still managed to get his girl even after the memory loss. At least Kazura chose to fight on the right side for once.

Pretty damn nice additional episode, however I do think this would've been better before the last episode of the tv series or a bit earlier at least than after the series. Either way these 3 specials sure were nice!
