| Oh god, this was seriously one of the funniest episodes of any anime I've seen. The humor came fast and furious, the wordplay was great, the jokes were awesome. So funny and wacky. |

| "Excel Saga" is a delightfully weird and funny series, and I have enjoyed every episode so far. I just finished watching this one and had to leave a comment. I have never been a sports fan, and my reaction to different sports ranges from boredom to virulent hatred. Bowling falls closer to the boring end of that scale. I can't quite bring myself to hate the sport because it isn't usually violent (my true hatred is reserved for violent sports such as hockey and American football), and it is rather un-cool, which for me is a positive attribute. I actually used to go bowling occasionally when I was a child, but I never could quite see the point of it. This episode is a fantastic parody of sports in general. It takes a sport that is often seen as dull and un-cool, and manages to make it exciting while poking fun at the un-coolness of it. While watching it, I couldn't stop laughing. So many people take sports so seriously that I think they need to be satirized, and this episode satirizes sports mania beautifully. I can't think of a better way to satirize sports than to take one that inspires very little passion among the general public and depict a bunch of fanatics taking the sport to ridiculous extremes. I hope fanatics devoted to "popular" sports can watch this episode and find the humor in their own situations. I look forward to watching the rest of this series; I can't wait to see the weirdness that emerges from the warped minds of its creators. |

| I was waiting for a sports themed episode and wow, it definitely delivered. Can't decide on a best moment, but overall my favorite episode as of now xD Ok, Excel dropping the bowling balls looked really hilarious |

| For an old anime they sure went all out on the animation, from the ultrarealistic strike there at the start to the 3d matrix dodging bullets scene Quite the intense sports episode |

| Lol the opening playing by the imposters excel and hyatt while excel was bowling, the sudden 3D change in one scene and the ball puns. Man this episode was great. |
