| This tournament only takes place within 2 days? Damn I was sure this took over a month when I was a kid. And I guess attacking directly was a thing before battle city, but for this tournament it was illegal. That makes sense since kaiba said in the first ep after the swords of revealing light were gone he would win. :O |

| Man the early duels where so simple, which isn't too bad, but its jarring seeing duels where you cant attack your opponents life points directly for example. |

| I remember thinking that this was the most boring duel out of the whole tournament, mostly because it consisted of Haga swarming his field with Insect monsters and Yugi getting rid of them without a real strategy simply by killing them with Mirror Force. And partially because I just hated Haga. Also a minor nitpick but the anime's decision to add those giant duel arenas instead of the deck boxes from the manga was questionable. |
