inb4 "god"

anyway. when i was a kid i believed two ridiculous things.
first i thought the soul was an organ in the body, like the heart, lungs, etc. and when you died the morticians would cut it out of you and mail it to heaven. yup

i also thought i was a robot. because i suffered chronic migraines as a child and would often just go straight to sleep after school and sleep until the next morning. i thought i was recharging my battery. yup

Speak for yourself that you knew what a mortician did and cutting your organ, the soul out, and mailing it to heaven.

Anyways, the only ridiculous thing I remember as a kid was the belief that I had the potential to be great in anything. The future is infinite with possibilities about what I can do, where I can live, and what I would end up as. (I think this was still in a quote on my profile.)

Is this even a ridiculous thought?

Used to believe growing up was worth something.

It wasn't, the problem though is you can't go back.
While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku.
At least I can go see her in concert.

It's not one of mine, but recently a friend told me she believed you could grow to be anything you wanted, and she wanted to be a sunflower.

Nah, that's not ridiculous. I still think that way.

Except keeping a part time job. I can't seem to do that. Damn.

Well, yeah I knew what a mortician did, but politics... whenever someone started talking about politics I would get a glazed look over my eyes and froth at the mouth as a kid....

And now that I'm an adult I care too much about politics. Too freaking much.

As for you, believe in yourself! The future is infinite! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!

After watching 'The Truman Show' for the first time, I was convinced that my life was a much more elaborate version of that.
And I thought that the reason that the movie was made was so that I would watch it and get my show more ratings by the irony of my thinking that my life was a television show and trying to ignore my paranoia.

Also I thought that oral sex was when you and your partner erotically narrated an imaginary sexual encounter.

Broccoli was an evil tool to turn kids into mindless robots that are obedient to parents and other authority figures. Literal robots too, with the metal and everything. I think it was from that one Tiny Toons Adventures episode.

That, and I shouldn't watch Cowboy Bebop or Trigun on Adult Swim 'cause they were PG-14 and kids shouldn't watch things like that. Now that I think about it 12 years later, I kinda hate myself.

A few things I believed was:
- That children never die.Life proved me wrong.
- That anime like DBZ,Pokemon,Digimon,Naruto & any anime I saw on TV was made by Americans.Of course,I wondered why they all had Asian names.Same goes for video games, like Mario,as well
- Oh & the Human race.
My Devianart

Oh & Space Brothers is still the best anime ever,in my opinion.Even when competing with Attack on Titan.

Heh, I also used to believe that TV shows were live and that in turn for us watching them, someone else was watching our daily life.

I also thought Erich Honecker was the news presenter I saw every evening.

And I believed that bad things only happen to others while for me everything would be fine in the end.

When I was young, I was ultra paranoic during the night. At the slightest move in the house, I thought it was a robber or ghost... not to mention I always thought that someone was always watching me. Well, I still think that xD

I thought that classic cars were living things and would hug my grandpa's '66 Cadillac Hearse everynight and tell it I loved it. I also thought people played pool in the backs of hearses and that's why they were so long in the back. I believed Speed Racer really existed.

If I got stung by a bee I would puff up everywhere and explode.

All weights were just plastic things my dad would lift to look cool; dropping one on my head and giving myself a concussion wasn't. I still wanted to lift one after it though.

My parents used to tell my siblings and I that everyone was skinny until they turned 65, then they somehow inflated overnight. We always kept watch on our grandpa for any changes.

The past is black and white with no color

Foreign countries are in cartoonish art

Santa is real

I am the only one who is not blinking

You can get pregnant after getting married without sexual interaction

You grow wings after eating too much chicken

Rice or food that you just ate goes out of your wounds if the wound is too deep

Kept me from biting my nails for a few years, till I got smarter and learned that almost no animal can survive the gastric acid in your stomach, then I was still stupid enough to start biting my nails again

That men hid stuff in their underwear. I once saw my dad in boxers, pointed to his groin and asked why men had a bump there, he told me it was a secret, so I assumed he was hiding something there.

I was also obsessed with death and, every night, I thought my parents are likely to be dead in the morning, so I cried my heart out every time I went to bed for about 2 years.
