| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Why does Tsubasa's dad's job take so long? It just seems a little ridiculous. Oh, and I don't think I can say this about any other anime I've seen, but the backgrounds of Figure 17 look like really good paintings. |

| "D-Dad, do the thing you're good at and leave me home alone!" "Oh, right, fair enough." This is surreal in ways I can't explain. Also, "So my clone and a neon blue alien are eating breakfast with me. The alien is trying to explain intergalactic space travel, telepathy and biological weaponization to me. I'm a grade schooler by the way." Sometimes I forget that anime gets weird sometimes. I thought I was desensitized, but what the hell. I also find disguising DD's hair to be hilarious. An anime where blue hair is considered odd? Holy crap. |
| D.D can't catch a break with these Maguars. Ironic that, despite being protective over Tsubasa and Hikaru, they're actually much more competent after merging than he is. Hope the guy gets to actually show off his skills at some point. Tsubasa is properly adjusting to the alien presence now, which I suppose is helped by how unconditionally amiable Hikaru is with her. Well, you'll find no better company than yourself, so it isn't surprising. |
