| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shoujo anime! Where a teenager dancing with a full-grown teacher in the moonlight is portrayed as squee and romantic -Surprisingly not a filler episode but the semi-finals itself. I wasn't expecting that. -Well, I guess it's a good thing the Andorra guys were bought out by Ojou cause their place was shit at first. When you have money, you can do anything! Why is it whenever they talk they have to add an inflection on the last syllable? -Ah, more and more UST on IchigoXKashino. I was a little annoyed when Hanabusa came out to comfort Ichigo first but then Andoh came and then Kashino walked her out and d'awwwwwww (he was carrying her shoes too). -Well, a tie. That was kinda pointless but entertaining nonetheless. To be honest, I would have been kind of annoyed if Ichigo won because seriously, Ojou's dress was pretty impressive to be that size and have LEDs on it. |

| Random helicopter comes and Ojou jumps off and screams "MAKOTO-KUUUUUUN!!!" WTF I wasn't expecting that. Not only the Andorra guys speak in a strange way, their sweets spirits speak funnily too. I don't understand why the roses/ chocolates/ sweets on the dresses DON'T MELT from their bodies' heat O.o Ojou's dress gives me the feel of an EVIL STEPMOTHER instead of CINDERELLA hohoho~ |

Pink helicopters? >.> The setting gave me a deja-vu of the episode where Ojou and Ichigo had their chocolate competition on Valentines day, since there was dancing, chocolate and most of all - a tie. zomg. Ojou's imagination. Aren't they a bit young to get married straight away? O_O Is it really possible to not have the chocolate melting from all that body heat and dancing? And plus what they said about LED lights, they really ignored about other possible ways to melt chocolate >.> (also, how do they keep the chocolate from cracking? It's not exactly 'soft' like fabric.) |

| Ojou eating dirt to open an episode worked for me! Andorra guys are a funny and fun bunch. Beats me why there was a campus out there in the first place given the conditions they were studying in pre-Ojou. The dresses were impressive and very fitting for their respective wearers. Team Ichigo was incredible as their dress didn't appear to be made of chocolate at all. Part of me wished that Tennouji was around for this one. Perfect opportunity to see that scary face she makes. |

| Wow, the look of jealousy on Kashino's face in the end made me smile. :3 It's nice how they all care so much about Ichigo. I agree with the non-melting thing. And I don't get how the dresses didn't..crack. o_o They were dancing, and Ichigo even went outside! >< I'm getting tired of Ojou's laughs. -__- But oh well. Does anyone other than me want something to happen between Ichigo, Henri-sensei, and Kashino?! Grr. |

| I really dont like theme "chocolate dress" Team Ichigo dress was nothing interesting. If only Ojou dont use Led and it was more simple i think they can win. And after all they draw. Oh and how they make dress... I always think what to make dress like this you need start do it directly on the model. |
| I feel like I had to suspend my disbelief too much with Ichigo's dress. She was far too mobile. Other than that, I felt like this was filler since the challenge felt like an afterthought, and it ended up being a tie. |
| That's quite a chocolate dress. For both of them , that is. Ichigo's looked like a normal dress to me since it looked like an actual dress (lol for redundancy -.-). I only figured the rose and some of the decorations were chocolate. I would have given my vote to Ojou since, well, LED's are awesome! And her dress had a more "chocolate" feel to it. The battle itself felt kind of rushed, like they wanted to get to Ichigo and Henri's little scene. But all in all a decent episode. I wish I never caught up to the most recent so I didn't have to wait another week. This would have been a great ep to watch and then have a more "meaty" episode to back it up. Oh well, another week until more Ichigo. :D |

| Wth, I thought they would explain some science shit or at least anything with physics to do about how to not let chocolate melt by body temperature rofl. The episode felt kinda rushed, dunno why but this wasn't a surprisingly exciting nor entertaining episode imho. |
| this ep totally felt like filler to me. I was surprsied that they even had the semi-finals. The chocolate dress thing I really couldn't believe. ... and makoto's jealousy is funny :X BUT AWESOME PRINCESS TUTU PREVIEW FOR NEXT WEEK! |

| A little too many unbelievable things happened this episode. 1. I agree that the mobility of the chocolate dresses (and the fact that the challenge was to make a dress out of chocolate to wear) is BS. There is no way they could dance and move around that much without affecting the chocolate. 2. In what way is it fair to have one of the contestant's dad be a judge? 3. How did Ichigo no recognize Henri-sensei until he took off his mask? It was so obvious. 4. I also find it odd how the students from Andorra (?) are so good at making sweets. Just studying from textbooks shouldn't make them patisseries worth of the World Cake Grand Pri. The school was so underfunded and under attended it makes it hard to believe it would even exist in the first place. 5. If all of the other teams have different types of semi-final matches, isn't that kind of unfair? Will we even see the other team's matches? (probably not...) 6. Finally, I really don't think they would have tied. Plus, why are random guests allowed to vote? And they didn't even vote on categories, just the dress itself. Also, it didn't feel like this episode was about the competition. It felt like a filler, which I didn't really like. So maybe next episode is the second match between them? Or it could be a filler. I don't know lol. lol I sure found a lot of criticize this episode, but overall I still thought it was pretty good. There were Kashino/Ichigo and Henri/Ichigo moments afterall. 3/5. I hope the next episode is better. |

| The jealous-looking Kashino at the end made this episode totally worth watching. I don't know whether this was actually in the manga... or actually not a filler... but it still felt like one, because there still will be another semi-final, since they tied. (Perfect tie too. Big surprise there. *Rolls eyes*) I'm guessing Team Ichigo's team was just white chocolate... with pink food colouring. But white chocolate isn't really chocolate, so I actually can't believe they would use white chocolate. Kashino, I think, would say something about that, no? And in any case, white chocolate's harder to work with and melt, so I doubt they could have made such a perfect dress out of the stuff... ... In the end. When considering all the scientific impossibilities, we find that it is once again best to IGNORE all of them. :D Because this is like a [semi-mahou] shoujo anime... Just minus the costume transformations, which the Sweets Spirits can actually carry out anyway as we saw them do in that competition at the Louvre. XD Explanation for pink chocolate? The Spirits probably cast a spell... well, maybe, at least. The chocolate didn't melt? Magic as well. :D Or some sort of underdress to prevent heat transfer, or some sort of spray to keep the chocolate that way (I've seen that before... though only for chocolate sculptures that didn't move around like real fabric). Whatever. It was a fun episode. XD It had some nice interaction between the members of Team Ichigo, too. |

| I thought that Ichigo dancing with Henri was just about as innocent as Miya dancing with her dad. She really does admire Henri though, but Ichigo seems more concerned with winning his approval as a patissiere than as for a romantic interest,but she is very innocent at times. |
