| Damn, Marshall's health isn't doing so well. Poor guy. At least he's got Monica by his side. Seems she's also getting along well wtih Sam. Speaking of Sam, I think it's great that she's playing her role and career. At this point, she's adapted to her life. She and Monica has underrated chemistry imo. |

| I really hope now after this ep that Sam doesn't get involved with Marshall. Monica was kind, I'd feel bad for her if she gets cheated on or dumped now. |
| Was hoping for something dramatic like those in "Kurage Hime" (Princess Jellyfish) to happen... but up to this episode it still hits a flat tone even when they did brought in some scenes similar to Princess Jellyfish, it felt lacking in a lot of way... lo-fi soap drama is probably the word for it...? this episode was really enjoyable, for some reason I was expecting the worse (misunderstanding)throughout the second half. |

| before reading the webtoon i was worried how sam and marshall’s dynamic would play out because monica is so likable!!!! i love that she’s not some hot fake bimbo stereotype who we can just easily dismiss due to a crap personality. she has a strong and assertive personality, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! i am a lot like her tbh lol. just because she is glam and loves her aesthetic, she is not some shallow, narcissistic jealous b*tch. she is a good person and i love that her and sam can be friends. i feel like if something does develop between sam and marshall, monica will be big enough to let it go. <3 |
| Loved the episode, except for how the translators somehow rendered “Sammy” as “kiddo”, even though Sammy is obviously just a nickname for Samara, the girl’s real name, just like how all her friends call her Sam. Why the heck is “Sam” translated as “Sam”, but “Sammy” becomes “kiddo”? It really bothers me. |
| Solid episode. They made some changes in this episode compared to the source material, but I found most of them to be well executed. On the flip side, nearly everything related to sex has been completely cut thus far, which hurts the development of the characters imo. It's like watching the PG-13 version of an R-rated comic. |

I also thought that was weird. My guess is that, maybe 'kiddo' is the original, since it's based on an American webcomic. Then the Japanese anime chose to translate that to 'Sammy', but the English subtitles kept 'kiddo'. I have read the source material but a long time ago so I can't remember for sure. You're right that there is no logical reason why they wouldn't use 'Sammy' in the subtitles otherwise.
Edit: Just checked on tapas and I'm right. She calls her kiddo. The example I saw was near the end of episode 61.

| @Rainime2005 Oh. I mean, thanks for confirming it, but I still find it weird, to be honest. Not Monica calling Samara “kiddo”, but the fact that the English subtitles are completely different from what Monica’s Japanese voice actress is actually saying, haha. It’s kinda confusing, but it is what it is, I guess. |

| The daily life of the players, as is Marshall Law with his dog Dinah and his secret love Monica, and Sam with her game progress and work duties. Above all, the two going about on their daily routine, as is Sam prepping her new game Evermake, only to get interrupted by Monica wanting to pimp her up in her fashion with her Glitz Kitten branding. Unfortunately, Monica's time off after the shoot flying off to New York, leaving Marshall with a bad fever, Sam having Link check up on him for some help, she really is the saviour for both guys...that feelings got in the way for Link seeing Sam being close to Marshall as someone that she fervently supports. Instead, their relationship is it is still taking their baby steps to figure each other out, taking it slow is a good thing, and sharing life between each other and Marshall, really is a life of friends hanging out together, regardless of status. Why can't people of the opposite sex stay friends forever, it's such a good vibe feeling. |
