| Santa is like the voice of reason in this show even though he's very hotblooded himself. This still felt much like a thriller episode. Among all the drama so far, it seems Shiori might be able to build a friendship. Santa is amazing though, and seems like he's not the type to fight children. |

| I forget theres a 14 year old sanda inside santa when he gives out words of reason & wisdom. Also when he proceeded to beat the shit out of the headmaster. I enjoyed amayas character so far especially the little bit of diabolical side he had. he almost convinced me was like a total psycopath for a second instead of just a normal desperate person forced to do missions they didnt want to do.  Sanda & fuyumuras dynamics are enjoyable and Hillarious even while in a serious situation. Good thing Amayas arc was resolved quickly, bro just wanted his bakery saved & make cakes for children & keep the christmas spirit alive. This country apparently is not only under low birth rates but also economic depression too while giving the children the special commodity treatment. Guess we need more world building to know more whats actually going on. Also i was wondering from the previous episode how did fuyumura know about sandas real identity. Anyways that question aside apparently shes not the only one after santa, since theres an entire group called St.Nick Pursuit unit (really subtle names arent they?) after him too. Hoping its gets more exciting & better from out here. Now we have a group of three friends too. yippie Again the osts were banger in this episode for the different scenes i was enjoying all of it. Shout out to science saru again. |
| Headmaster guy is demented but I can't help but appreciate his character design for conveying that so well. Sanda's transformed state is so fascinating as a glimpse of how Santa would "biologically" adapt for a society with barely any kids. It's funny imagining how the Christmas genes or whatever determined it'd be worth speccing evolution points into retractable skis of all things. |

| This world is really f*cked up. Giving children enough power over adults has made them so dangerous and the adults also seem creepy. Amaya had a good reason for what he did but that was still too much for a kid to be doing what he did. We missed a chance at seeing Fuyumura kissing Santa not Sanda. That would have been the creepiest thing lol And Fuyumura wasn't fazed even a little when it came to kissing him 😭😭 Still Fuyumura is the one who is terrifying. She's so mysterious and she doesn't hesitate to kill anyone. We could see Amaya reading Beastars manga ❤️❤️ |

It's gonna air throughout december, that makes more sense than starting it in january when noone cares about christmas anymore. Spooky season is only until the end of october, after that it's all about christmas. |

| So the declining amount of kids in the world has given them this elite status where they can even kill an adult and nothing will be done to them, now I gotta make sure I’m not gonna run into little Timmy in a back alley lol. Cool world building there, but the main focus of the episode was the introductions of Amaya and the school headmaster Oshibu. Amaya seemed like a little bastard at first (the kissing situation he created was pretty funny tho lol) but he turned out to be another kid that truly believes in Santa like Fuyumura, and I wanna point out that I really liked the joke where it looked like Sanda might have “believer” vision or something but he can actually just see really far lol. Nice to have Amaya as part of the cast now, but Oshibu tho… that’s one creepy mf lol, I found it very unsettling that despite being 92 years old, he’s had so much facial surgery that he maintains a youthful appearance, however he can’t emote and constantly has this freaky stare, pair that with his obsession of children and you got a grade A psycho, I love it lol, what a delightfully creepy character. And looks like he called up the anti Santa squad, that exists apparently lol, but I’m sure there’s a good reason for it that we’ll find out soon enough. And lastly, it’s pretty interesting that the influence of the Santa powers on Sanda has caused him to no longer see Fuyumura as a member of the opposite sex, but just another kid, that’s kinda sad but maybe Sanda will eventually find his Mrs. Claus at some point. |

| Amazing ep Ngl, when u watch so much anime, its quite obvious when a character plans to do something bad, especially if u can't see their eyes or rarely open them. Sanda's sleigh runners are hard asf. That headmaster creepy asf, he really using his cane to give himself a face lift lol. Happy asf that Fuyumura disciplined Amaya. I wonder how strong that group is. Training arc soon??? 10/10 |

| Beastars manga volume spotted! I liked Ooshibu, it's funny how he has to manually furrow his own brow lol We definitely already have a pretty colorful cast of characters and an interesting world filled with mysterious here |

| All of these kids are so wild, but with Japan only having 50k left out of the entire population, I get it. This is the second time someone's injured Sanda to get his help. Still, at least Amaya's scheme did have the positive outcome of revealing a new ability that Sanda can use offensively, because those sleigh runners can do some major damage! It was also the perfect method of escape from the youth obsessed headmaster Oshibu. I quite like this trio of Santa and the two extreme youths who believe in him. |

Of course this is the signature of Beastars author. No, I'm not referring to that protective hug under the table that look exactly similar. What I mean is that the story is also serve as social commentary. In Beastars, the author tackles Japan's fear of diversity and racial stereotype. In Sanda, the topic is falling population and worsen economy and how the newer generations are worrying about their future.
Another signature is the taboo. We all know what taboo is in Beastars world. In this anime, the taboo is Santa's work ethics won't allow him to have an erotic relationship with children even though he's also a kid himself.

| Well, this world where children have more authority isn't great, but what a crime is the amount of plastic surgery that the headmaster has and having to use his walking stick to make the frown is crazy, also that he is in his 90s! I love art design and cannot wait for more of this! |

| The headmaster kinda looks like muzan from demon slayer if he didnt have any powers at all Also on second viewing I realized that the OP is actually a lot catchier and nicer to listen to than what I thought at first, though I guess that happens with all anime openings, the more you listen to it the better it becomes. |
