| Mio mom is firm, cool, thoughtful but I get some suspicion something past thing is eating her like everyone else in this show. "Usually, you're pretty gloomy, but lately you've been weirdly cheerful." Yes, a salutory evolution for Nato. Seems Tokui was childhood friend to Yukari, and have some sort of incident with her or her family. Loading up the childhood trauma backstory bus yet further. Makina see to interact only by manipulation and deception for self interest. I expect there is a back story there. |

| I'm not sure if the implication was the mother wants Yukari to be with Tokui, or if there is some other reason she's thinking of Tokui when she asked Naoto to break up with Yukari |
| Wow. Naoto's actually going to prioritize his own feelings and not break up with Yukari. He really seems to be in love with her, and he wants to be with her come hell or high water. Meeting Yukari daily after her mom explicitly told him to break up with her is a bold move. But it wasn't the smartest move. Wouldn't that just make her mom even more pissed off? That's what would've happened IRL anyway. Pulling stunts like that is just digging your own grave. He would've been lucky if she had just let go of him there. But that's not how it happens in anime Ig lol. I don't understand what Yukari's mom's problem is. She seems to think Naoto is a good kid and all. And she's even understanding of their sex drive. Wow what a modern and progressive mother. So it seems contradictory that she wants Yukari and Naoto not to date "for now." Why, is it because he's poor and an orphan? Wanting to protect your daughter is normal but that'd make her the villain here if that was the reason lol. Anyway, it looks like the third wheel will finally do something in the next episode. And I was liking Naoto and Yukari's dates... This show already has a 2nd cour that'll air next season. Kinda impressive for an anime like this. I thought it'd be delayed for sure. |

On one hand, tbh as a parent it is valid to not want your daughter to become a teen mom, on the other hand, you gotta realize that kids are dealing with hormones and developing at this age and they’re going to have sex/explore their sexuality with or without your approval. So you should be encouraging protection and it’s better to happen at home than in some random field or some shit. Also, where was this energy when Yukari was getting groomed by the older dude and all the emotional abuse suffered from that? All of a sudden she’s mom of the year lol After that convo with Tokui, it feels like she’s just going thru the motions, but she knows they’re not gonna break up. Kids will do what they wanna do no matter what you say. I’m confused about why she confides in Tokui like this tho, what is she actually playing at Honestly respect to Naoto for not backing down and breaking up with Yukari. Defying someone’s mom like that takes balls and it shows how much he cares about Yukari. Funny thing is he IS starting to get those natural urges that a teenage boy would have. Earlier in the ep Mio talked about repressing your sexuality having emotional consequences and I think we’re gonna see that start to bubble up and maybe he’ll start agreeing with the mom that they shouldn’t be together, he breaks up and then yukari realizes what her mom said to naoto, she runs back to him but he’ll be with Satsuki. I can already predict this bullshit from the author lmao. On the flip side, Ishihara looked sooo cute during their date and I love how excited she is to just spend any amount of time with Naoto no matter where it is, even now she’s just thinking about ways to make him happier. She’s an angel… too bad we’re about to get more drama with another girl lol. P.S that scene when Yukari gets excited about the flowers her mom gave her and then remembers they’re supposed to be beefing is so fucking real I do that all the time |

| @Marinate1016 I find the way it is handling damaged psyches struggling for relationships and growth to be rather fascinating. It does a decent job of trickling out backstory info, although I would prefer that to come faster, and does a good job of showing internal conflicts and insecurities, and the hard struggle to understand one's self. Much better than the 'I cannot forthrightly communicate my feelings for no goddamn reason' animes that are so common. This show can be a bit oppressive with SO MANY characters carrying so much baggage, but my ego and psyche are very robust. Goes with the Evil Overlord territory. Could be a generational thing; I have spent vastly more time in person with other people than most of you guys. |

| Gonna be honest I thought the anime was ending this episode, looks like its continuing. Idk for how long but I guess that's nice. In the end the way I see it is Yukari and Naoto are young adults and their parents can guide them down the right path but they are technically adults. Meaning their lives are in their own hands now so if they wanna date that's their choice and she should respect it. I understand a parents worry but their adults and like come on they could definitely work around this they don't have to do it in Yukari's room they could definitely find like idk a hotel or something. Im glad their dragging this relationship out cause no matter what happens with Tachibana Naoto has had feelings for Yukari for ages long before Tachibana and Naoto even reunited. Hell I still hate Tachibana a lot she's such a weird mc. I know this is leading to them breaking up but man I hope we get some more progression in their relationship aside from being more comfortable with eachother. Even if its just a kiss. |

| Pretty good episode to be honest. I still hope they break up soon, but at least there is something interesting happening around that relationship. But if Naoto really goes to Umezawa he kinda deserves to be broken up with actually... Even though I guess Ishikawa would forgive it. But I'm glad we get the second cours, I'm actually starting to enjoy this series more and more even though it's still not amazing. |

| I feel like this has been the best episode out of all the ones released so far, mainly because of how realistic it was. Firstly, I agree with everything Mio did and said. I don’t relate to her, but I empathize with her, aside from her creepy, psychopathic grin, she did the right thing. Telling Yukari to keep Naoto only as a friend, and telling Naoto to break up with her. I agree with her. Both Naoto and Yukari are just super horny because of how much they love each other. I ain't saying it’s wrong, but your lust shouldn’t be the one in control. Let’s say you actually slept with her and your feelings changed years later, Yukari’s virginity ain't ever coming back, so you’d have ruined her life. Let's say you impregnated her, how would you manage the expenses? With just part-time jobs? Please. Grow up, Naoto. Mature a little. |

| While this episode was a good watch there was not enough Satsuki in it. Also, Yukari's mom is up to something... she keeps spying on her daughter and she knows that she's seeing Naoto after she asked Naoto to break up with her so I wonder if she'll do something. On another note it looks like Tokui may be a childhood friend of Yukari as he knows her mom, maybe the mom wanted her to go out with him? We'll see. |

@peodsgns yeah the 3 of them are pure garbage, but at least I'm not like you who thinks Solo Leveling is good because it's popular lol, Avatar is the biggest movie in cinema, doesn't mean it's good and, 2 of the biggest franchises? Solo Leveling sure, Tokyo Revengers? The only thing ppl like about that show is the opening and probably is the only thing they knew about the show... And and you have DxD, fucking Infinty Stratos, Nisekoi and Nagatoro-san as favorites too, you can't call anything slop with that lol

@peodsgns yeah it's bellow average, just like Solo BS Leveling and Tokyo Crybaby Revengers, all 3 of them are garbage but at least the protagonist of Tougen Anki isn't so bad like Takemichi or an edgy lord like Sung that only teenagers think it's cool lol and the female character designs? You don't like giant bazookas?
| @Julio_99 you rated sl season 2 an 8/10 so it cant be thaaaat bad, for me it wasnt even the fight or aura scenes i just like the world building and the perfect pacing, ive read the manhwa some time ago and the story is actually really good, TR was a 7/10 when i watched it first time but after some time i just got hooked, and imo almost every character apart from takemichi is really well made. i just watched tawawa on monday and their honkers were already way too much, tougen ankis female characters are so over the top imo, the story is just boring and it does nothing new |

| I don't think I've ever hated the writing while enjoying the characters this much before. Each character has their own struggles, emotions and angles, but it's NOT coming together with this stupid writing when it comes to the story. |
| Love the way Mio Ishihara handled the direct aftermath of the situation with Naoto. She read the situation correctly and saw her daughter was entirely to blame and the boyfriend tried to take the fall and she wanted him to know that he's not to blame; one of the most based moms in anime at present. Makina's re-entry prologue for her comeback into the story though...I've definitely seen a fair share of obvious-insertions-back-into-a-story-by-author-to-extend-the-series'-length attempts before but that scene just feels like the author making fun of themselves for such a contrived moment of storytelling. As for Naoto and Yukari's relationship, personally I'm very much looking forward to seeing how it'll crash and burn - don't know how it's going to happen but clearly all the other characters can see that they're heading for doom with all the red flags that they're conveniently ignoring. Their chemistry onscreen is just truly shallow. |
| Man, I wasn't expecting the anime to make me dislike the ML even more than the manga. Although since this adaptation completely misses the mark in translating the tone of the original story, I guess it doesn't even matter. Oh well, next... |
