Another episode about Yukari and her insecurity.

Makina has way bettter chemistry with Naoto even when she's awkward. I mean seriously, Makina is just a far more entertaining character than Yukari in every way. Felt bad that she's always going to be second or third place after the other two main girls. Hoping to see more of Satsuki next time.

WoDonald's, LOL!
Makina is such a pain when listening to her babble. And Suzu ("female intuition") becomes so based as she is growing up now.
Authentic.

Ishihara best girl man just focus on her ffs they’re complicating things with this Makina chick and no one cares 😭 It was so hard watching Ishihara beat herself up for Naoto being an absolute pussy ass bitch, oh no, the horror, girlfriend wants reassurance from her bf. Like everyone’s saying, he really doesn’t deserve her.

On the bright side, at least they communicated, made up and are moving forward for now. Ishihara thinking about her future should encourage Watari to start planning as well. You’d think Makina would’ve given up by now but if anything it feels like she got more motivated lol

Should be clear to everyone by now that the core of the tension/drama here is young people trying to with emotional disability and advance their connections to others and that the seeming trite troops of shy, insecure, maladaptive, insensitive, and unkowing MCs are integral part of that, rather than being their own things. The theme song for the so could easily be Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward. I am way more impressed with the writing here than the typical getting nowhere anime rom-com. Whether the author wanted the tropes and skillfully created story reasons for them, or had the temes and then incorporated common tropes, I don't know, chicken, egg.
The only major character not showing this disabilty yet is Tokui, wingman galore, but his feeling for Yukari is reasonably clear, and no other explanation for it yet. Something is compelling him to remain background, despite his intelligence and obvious grasp of the situations.
As other have noted, they all need help.

Naoto, Yukari, Satsuki, and Suzu are clearly damaged by past trauma, I suspect strongly Makina and Tamayo (family, dead brother and sister in law) as well, but there are other ways to have this disability.

Anyway, back to the fun part.

Makina nails Naoto's insecurity.

I am just chaperoning three kids."
And, Naoto nails her back
And then he does again.

It really is all about not wanting to mess up, huh?"
Yoda: "That is why you fail..." The risks of 'messing up' your relationship are GROSSLY exaggerated by anime and anime characters. The real risk is not paying attention to the other person, and advancing you connection to them.

Satsuki's cow girl cheerleader outfit, does not look western enough, assuming you can see anything past her bust. But, she is still a fantastic gremlin.

Imouto's intuition.

I disliked the episode because of Makina. I actually pitied her throughout the whole thing, until she made that stupid decision in the pre-ending scene, to become a burglar cat. Makina, why can’t you understand that you just can’t go after guys who are already taken?

@LordCrueltyV Unfortunately, I had a very hard time of that, since her cleavage was falling out of it. But it does bring nostalgia, those outfits in High School in my day were just as bad. Oh, right this is work. Well, Hooters exists. LOL

While the "misunderstanding" between Ishihara and Naoto was mostly cleared up I still think that Ishihara is insecure about Satsuki, and rightly so. Speaking of Satsuki, her calling Makina "Kohai A" was pretty funny and kind of harsh but it's true that Makina doesn't have a chance and her quitting the track and field team... well I hope she quit it for other reasons than just to pursue Naoto.

Makina's right. Ishihara is too good for Watari. But after seeing her insecurities I'm not sure anymore. Makina did indirectly clear her misunderstanding of Watari tho. So she was useful even if she didn’t intend it.

Was Satsuki always that big? Nope. That new waitress uniform is doing wonders.

It’s good that Makina gave up on something she doesn’t care about anymore. But there's no way she has any chance with Watari. Besides going after a guy who already has his sights on someone and is actually dating them is just hopeless. I'm not looking forward to seeing her schemes lol.

Watari should just focus on Ishihara now. Whatever happened, happened. He should look for their future. I don't understand what about their relationship is a trial. It’s like they're dating already. They should stop beating around the bush and just make it official already.

I honestly don't know if I like this show or not. I think it would be a whole lot better if Makina wasn't in it. Makina was convenient just so Yukari could get over her insecurities with Watari so she could overhear how he really feels. Outside of that, Makina has been a nuisance with zero hopes in getting into a relationship with him.

I guess only in anime that girls would love some guy till the end even though he already has a girlfriend, or even if he's married that it wouldn't matter, right? Give me a break

@Skuvan None of the characters make logical or rational decisions tbf.

This is a really rough watch at the moment.

Suzu you fucking GOAT. Loved how she roasted Kouhai A. I used to find her annoying, but these past few episodes she has been the absolute highlight.

Loving all the funny names Satsuki comes up for everyone else. Ishihara is called Miss F Cup if I recall.
