| Panty and Stocking is good and looks more like a 98-2005 Cartoon Network show like a Craig McCracken show Lots of anime up to the 80's look very Disney-esque. Sherlock Hound, Little Nemo, Ringing Bell, Tezuka's work A lot of the mor independent experimental stuff like Working Buddies and Inferno Cap resemble a flash animation you'd see on a NewGrounds. Which sticks out most to you? |

| Not sure if it qualifies, but Samurai Jack was a western series that incorporated just about every anime trope ever written. And then created some more of its own. |

| I love Art Deco/noir, and I love Bruce Timn, and The Big O feels like if you had Bruce Timn make a super robot anime. Angel has to be up there with some of my favourite female character designs in the medium. Super attractive art style in general. I love the atmosphere in that show.  |

| I can't think of too many examples, but as already said, it's gotta be Panty and Stocking for me. The movie Redline has always kinda too. Years ago when I first seen bits of it, I didn't even know it was an anime, so I gotta say that one as well. |

| Probably something from Trigger. Not so much the content, but the aesthetic is pretty far removed from Japanese animation stereotypes in most cases. |
