And there we are with another Toei moment where they change Sanji's feats to make him look worse than what he is. Yeeeee so happy...Its starting to become a problem. If before there were just 2/3 moments, the fact that they are continuing to add scenes where they want to make Sanji look bad is concerning. For those who dont know, here we see that Kizaru scratches Sanji with one of his Yasakani no Magatama, but in the manga Sanji BLOCKS the attack directed at him. Also Kizaru doesnt evade one of Sanji's kicks, that scene doesnt exist. We have to make Toei stop downplaying Sanji anytime they can...

| I just started the episode and noticed the CGI explosions. I don’t think they looked good and they didn’t really match the art style of One Piece. There were also frames with hand-drawn flames, and those looked much better. If they had kept it consistent with animated flames everywhere, it would have been perfect, but well, it can’t be changed now. There were also other parts where CGI was used, like for camera movements and character shots, and those were actually done really well. I think CGI in those areas made the scenes look even better. I don't know how Toei manages to cook this level of quality every week, that 6-month break definitely paid off. |

LUFFY LANDS A HAKI-EMPOWERED PUNCH ON BORSALINO, BLOWING HIM AWAY WHILE LAUGHING AND DANCING, AS BONNEY WATCHES IN DISBELIEF AND SADNESS THAT HER FATHER DIDN’T LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE IT. OHHH MYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDD. That aside, cutting the episode right after the Giants arrive, goodness gracious! If that ain’t illegal, I don’t know what is! But what I do know for sure is that things are about to get hype! Are we about to start the Elbaf arc? Not entirely sure, but what I am sure of is that I’m super excited! |

| Bigger than the ship! Dory & Broggy jumped on to a Marine ship and damn near sank it!! They're taller than the mast. This was a good episode (a little too much Luffy jumping and the buildings wiggling for my taste), but I wasn't excited to the big boys showed up. Next week...giants, the ancient robot, and Zunisha will be on the move. Sometimes I wonder if on some remote islands if there aren't pockets of supposedly extinct ancient races who have been waiting for Nika. I wouldn't be surprised to see more Buccaneers and Lunarians by the end. |

Grobbies said: I have watched one piece for years now, and finally I can't take the pacing anymore. The last 2 episodes was 10 seconds of the story. The last 5 episodes could have been 1 episode. The repeated flashbacks, non-stop over every little thing is tiring and takes away from the continuation of the story. We literally watched the Kuma/Bonney backstory 10 episodes ago, we dont need a 1-2min flashback about Kuma talking about Nika again. Every scene and interaction is so over emphasized now that it has to take minutes when it could be a couple seconds. Fights are drawn out over tens of episodes, sometimes not even seeing the development of the fight for weeks, instead of showing it in a continuous way, and this just removes the intensity and impact of the fight. I wish they would just get on with it. I don't remember the pacing being this drawn out in the early parts of one piece. It feels like it is just being milked non stop in order to just make it longer or for the manga to get ahead. I'd rather they had seasons per year with breaks than having to watching this drawn out brain numbing episodes. You could pretty much sum up the ep in 3 points: Vegapunk got stabbed, Luffy went into Gear 5, Giants arrived. That's 20mins... I genuinely have no idea how do some people still say the pacing is perfect and other crap. I've been a weekly OP watcher since 2012 (around Dressrosa's start) and I really do like OP but like shit, if something is ass, I won't pretend that it is not and the pacing is exactly that. I also don't like G5 at all so it kinda makes it even harder for me to watch. |

| I honestly fear for some of the upcoming episodes. The pacing can be categorized as "actions per episode" and it does not go above 3. The timeframe excuse is somewhat understandable, but these guys took 6 months and I cant believe they were made just for the Kuma flashback. Later on there are slow chapters. I think the stretching will be too much. |
