| The orb obtained from Goemon turned out to be the Darkness Orb, a sphere that swallows anyone who holds a dream. Inside, Yaiba and Juubee encounter Kerokichi, a kappa who serves as a guide to the dark world. In this realm, any dream can be realized, yet escape is said to be impossible. When Kerokichi reveals that an exit exists behind the Dark Waterfall, Yaiba and Juubee set out at once, only to discover that the path is guarded by another kappa, Kerosuke, a towering figure with a rock-hard head and the ability to breathe fire. |

| Amidst all the nonsense there was a spark of true wisdom. Dreams should be hard to achieve, otherwise they aren't dreams worth having. |
| It compresses two or three episodes feom Yaiba Classic. The battle with Keroke is okay, but the battle against the monster is so-so in this adaptation. The way Onimaru discovered his new technique, which is a good parallel, loses its impact here. |

Man this episode was weird. And by weird I mean bad. The pacing was really off, like they were rushing, and they kinda were, what was covered here had no time to breathe and had covered what the og series took 3 episodes to cover. It were some of my favorite episodes too. I am genuinely pissed how badly handled this episode was.

| I thought 1 cour would be enough for this arc but it turns out not to be the case. Anyway, it's not a big deal to me because the old anime adapted the first 3 arcs very well, the contents that was skipped and rushed in this remake so far is just a disadvantage for new audiences. Basically, I'm just looking forward to the contents that wasn't adapted in the old anime. |
| With Jubei slowly falling prey to his desires and not his dreams, and a giant kappa blocking the exit, Yaiba is forced to come up with a new technique with a training partner that wouldn't listen to him. Alas, the werewolf comes out and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as a new rolling in the air move just came out with even a change in trajectory. Beware Yaiba that Onimaru is also pulling off his own technique. Rip that bull demon who only lasted 2 minutes on screen. |
