| Not going to lie, camping by the waters looks like fun and chill with just two people. The food looked simple as expected for outdoors camping - vegi wrapped with some mixed meat. Shizuku at this point seems to be conflicted about the idea of solo camping but with time, I think she'll come around. Good chemistry between those two again. |

Nice to get an introspective episode with Shizuku reflecting on why she likes camping so much, got some more cute moments with she and Gen and we got Gen’s best friend Akihito showing up! Another really fun episode Nah bro I can SMELL these Shizuku dishes thru the screen, I’m hungry as fuck. ๐ If I’m Gen, I’m teaching Shizuku anything she needs to know as long as she keep cooking delicious meals every trip. That bell pepper dish looked astounding! You can also feel Gen and Shizuku’s interactions becoming a lot warmer and Gen in particular is really looking forward to her meals as a part of his camping trips. He’s an introverted person that struggles to express himself so he can come off kinda rude, but he’s a nice fella. You see some of that later on with Akihito who he’s kinda cold with too, but Akihito knows his personality so he doesn’t mind it. Speaking of which, hope we see more Akihito because he’s 1: hot af 2: a great wingman, funny af and spices things up. I’ve never enjoyed learning about campfires more than watching this show ๐ |

Dude what LOL This reminds me of the people hating on Gen when he just wanted to relax out in nature and get away from the city for a bit. Can someone just not go camping on their own or something? Also, this might just be me but does anyone else think this episode looks a bit... off? I haven't gone back to earlier episodes to actually check, but I swear the quality has gone down at least a bit, but idk that could just be in my head. Overall, okay episode. Shizuku is learning that it's okay to just like something. There doesn't have to be some deep reason as they why someone likes camping on their own. Can't say I really care about the cooking part of this show, but when this show just shuts up and focuses on camping, it's not bad... But does there seriously need to be romance mixed in here? @WatchTillTandava Damn really? That's really stupid but alright :/ I did not pick this up for romance lmao I picked this up for the camping aspect. |

| The friendship of Shizuku, Saya and Mizuki fracturing bit by bit when it comes to solo camping, though actually understanding what IS that term takes a turn into confusion for the former. With Gen's help, Shizuku understands the term better in her own cognizant form, though the middle-aged man always looks forward to what his student has in store for food. Although there's a point to be said if camping = curry when it comes to alcohol, and anything that Shizuku whips is always a win when curry-specific dishes CAN work well with booze. That said, while curry is also a cliché staple when it comes to camping, outdoor (school) classes and the like, the scenery is also a highlight of the camp at certain times (i.e. sunrise/sunset). Continuing with the curry onslaught, as much as Shizuku's food is a sure-fire win, the compliments are always standard. The problem is Gen's camping high school "friend" Akihito Takigawa, whom the former claims that he's "close" to, but constantly avoids him like the plague, until Shizuku invades his solo camping life. Sure, Akihito's a pick-up for Shizuku, but her clearly enamored by Gen, keeps herself close to Gen and learning as much from him, like camping gear for fire, and the best parts of the campfire. At least he's being a bro not trying to steal her from his camping friend. Gen and Shizuku are "not there yet", but time will play into their feelings alright... |
