With everything that's been going on, Miyako and Kakeru's relationship definitely got more complicated. I think that's the intention for this episode though. It wanted them to explore their feelings.

Seems this show can be more character focused when it tries.

The plot of this story is so slow, truly. In the fourth episode, they only declare their love. At this rate, it seems like the heroine role is only for Kujou. I just realized that even for an anime series with 9k members on MAL, it feels strange to me. Is this series really that bad? I don't know, but since fourth episode, i feel the storyline has become truly monotonous and boring.

The way Kujou and Niimi are dating is also really monotonous; I feel there are no romantic or dating scenes in this episode. Even Haruka's appearance as the best heroine (vn player) doesn't elevate this episode.

I just hope there’s an H scene in this anime; that's all I wish for. After all, the death flag has been raised, rip.

One thing I like about Miyako is that while she's rich she's not a stereotype rich lady, she does a part time work, she live moderately.

Finally the protagonist true power revealed, he revert back to ep3 point, I'm not quite satisfied, I wish he could revert back to before the first victim.

As also a vn player myself, I'm torn between Miyako and Haruka as to who's best girl

I thought this episode was pretty good. Weird that so few people seem to watch this show. I haven't played the original VN but to me the story doesn't seem that slow.

it's very questionable that they decided to cut that...

The amount of plot holes, my god I knew this adaptation was going to turn bad but this is something else. They literally speed run through those last 5 minutes.

Heck I would even consider those 5 minutes some sort of original content that led to the Bad Ending, because that was not how it was supposed to lead up to the reveal. Like how lazy can these guys be?
> Kakeru parts on a good note with Miyako
> Input random mob characters talking about a 3rd statue victim, with really detailed rumors about being a classmate, implying someone actualy found them
> Kakeru runs around the city and per coincidence ends up being the 1st to find the corpse who has yet to be found, conveniently laying there for him for plot reasons

I guess for anime onlies Miyako’s death can be atributed to bad luck, because they totally were not trying to find the Evil Eye user, especially on this episode.

So to sum it up in this 1st arc what was mainly butchered:

Oh well... I guess on the next episode we will start directly on Sora’s route with no context whatsoever. Just hoping they are not going to do each of the other 3 games/arcs in 3 episodes each. Please at least end this excuse of adaptation on the 3rd arc and leave the last one for a movie or something.

@Kaiton Ugh this is painful to read as someone who enjoyed the VN. I haven't jumped into the show yet, but I'm still tempted because I really love the voice actors especially Sora's.

@Llamaaa765 that's exactly how i feel D: the vns were part of what really got me into vns in the first place, and the voice actors are all great. i didn't have high hopes to begin with but it's worse than i expected lol

Onion rings are pretty awesome tbf.

Got caught off guard with how sweet Niimi and Miyako's m utual confession ended up being, only to get caught even further off guard with that ending. At least we know what his artifact is now.

@mario132 Good for you but trust me, the visual novel was more detailed and scene/event transitions are not awkward as hell compared to the anime.
