| They're really trying to find any type of way for a protagonist to die in this show for isekai these days There's apparently game mechanics and Takuto has to learn. Atou seems to serve as a guide for him to learn about that world. Gotta say..she has a childish personality at times but still important to have around. Yeah, a standard isekai anime for sure. |

| Novelist Fefu Kazuno's series sure reeks one of generic Isekai reincarnation things, but it actually is entertaining somehow. Rico Sasaki's OP is just kind of meh... Just like SAO, the legendary player of Takuto Ira being at the top of the world in the Eternal Nations fantasy strategy game, finds himself somehow dead and reincarnating into the game's universe and meeting his favourite unit of Sludge Atou, and just like before, to establish his evil empire. However, the meeting of more dark elves, as is Gia and his brethren group seeing Sludge and Takuto (hidden in darkness), and giving them refreshments in return for the survivability of their troupe, which had all sorts of problems: the dark elve tribe themselves questoning of their benefactor, and Atou just reveling in her master's ways. Takuma Terashima's ED is decent, really decent... Still, this could be quite the fun one... |

| Takuto is seen playing a game on his laptop when he falls asleep and wakes up in an isekai. It’s a unique way—at least the main character isn’t hit by a truck. Atou can understand Takuto’s struggles before he was get isekai to this dark fantasy world. So, are they both brought into the fantasy world together? Atou invites Takuto to build a kingdom for the two of them. Let’s just say Takuto and Atou are like top-tier chuunibyou. At first, Takuto and Atou plan to isolate themselves and secretly gather information. They summon a familiar to observe the situation, which I think is quite efficient.  Atou actually wants to help, but the circumstances aren’t in her favor. At least being by Takuto’s side is enough for her. The plan to isolate themselves seems to be in place. However, they end up encountering a group of Dark Elves who are the inhabitants of this world. At least the elf aren’t starving; that’s enough for me for today. Just likes this Atou tsundere moment ahahaha. |

| Randomly waking up in another world is a tough situation to be in. But having your favorite games playable character with you makes things easier! Atou and Takuto's dynamic is cute! Even if they appear like an evil legend to the dark elves. |

| RICO SASAKIIIIIII, i love the OP song so much, i think in terms of song this OP is one of the best this year. and ED song is as good as the OP but i like Rico Sasaki voice more than the ED. decent start, i like the dialogue and concepts this isekai, pls give me more Atou scene next week. |

| Kind of a weak start. It's a different approach than other Issekai, for sure but not all that different. It is interesting enough to warrant few more episodes and I like the fact they proclaim themselves as evil right off the bat, although I have doubts about that. It will most likely end up being like every other "evil" character in anime which is not actually evil but mostly misunderstood or secretly doing good. I'd love to get a show with anti-hero theme. It's one of the reasons why I liked Eminence in Shadow. |
| I really like the source material for this series. Already had an inking of it but really sucks to see it didn't the proper budget to make the adaption look amazing. This is like watching the Mobuseka adaption all over again. Being a fan of works that get a mid quality adaption just makes you wish they'd never done the adaption in the first place so at least you'd still have hope that one day the series would get the royal treatment for an amazing adaption |

| yup, if this is the usual turn-based strategy 'lead your nation' epic fantasy game-world... the kid and his gal (some kind of mage?) are playing on Nightmare Difficulty with an initial spawn point that only has trees/forest for easily discovered resources! no bugs? no birds? no squirrels or boars or any animals? no monsters of any kind hostile or passive? no fruit trees or nut trees or root/tuber plants or flowers??? he has one big piece of cloth draped over the back of his 'throne' of piled stones, his gal has some clothes, he's still in his hospital pajamas without even a pair of indoor slippers for footwear... HIS stats/skills etc. are unknown right now, except for a minimum of MP and ability to Emergency Spawn 1 scouting bug and make some food out of nothing but Mana/MP... and his gal is back to her baseline New Game stats without even a New Game+ boost. but she still has that one inherent Skill of there being a chance that she takes some Skill etc. from any 'unit' she defeats. they don't have a hut, or cave, or ANYTHING resembling a starter house/base/castle... i don't think they've got tools of any kinds either! also, it is unknown how fast his Mana/MP can regenerate or the mechanics of such... like food increasing Health or Mana/MP or anything. it does look like those dark elves could be in the market for a new place to live AND a 'god' to follow since they were abused, beaten, killed, persecuted, and finally exiled by the 'light elves' in the 'civilized place'. so he has a possible route in-front of him of cooperating/subjugating/negotiating/bribing this somewhat big tribe of dark elves into becoming the core of his followers/minions. oh, and to the dark elves the kid looks like a fear inspiring humanoid shadow being with two blank white eye-shaped things in its face and NO other identifying features. |

| I knew watching this would be a good idea, looked right up my alley from the key visual, but this actually isn’t what I expected at all. I thought this would be way darker and edgier, instead I got lighter hearted Overlord! Fuck yea, I love nation building and political intrigue series. Takuto and Atou’s rise to the top is gonna be a trip. Bro really got isekai’d into a fantasy world with his waifu from his fave game AND she actually knows who he is and remembers their relationship before they got isekai’d. W wish fulfilment. I compared this to overlord, but this series addresses two of my biggest issues with that series. 1:Atou remembers she and Takuto’s previous relationship and everything they went through when he was a player. 2:Takuto isn’t an edgelord and seems like a genuinely awesome guy who just wants to help people and stay to himself. Watching ainz was so cringe at times because even though he’s more of a neutral person, he lets his subordinates do evil things because he doesn’t wanna seem like a bitch to them. I hope this MC doesn’t go down that path. Atou seems like a way better Albedo too, again for similar reasons as my issues with Ainz. I love how the two of them are on the same wavelength and there’s no misunderstandings, they just act like best friends and tease each other lol. We got our first members of the nation too, the dark elves will surely end up serving under Takuto since he has the food and protection they need. I understand Moltar being apprehensive about Takuto because it is sus to have this all powerful being just giving food out of the goodness of their heart, but hopefully he comes around soon. Very solid premiere, can’t judge a book by its cover. Key visual and title text made me think this was gonna be edgy af and it’s very chill so far. |

| I can say this is an unusual isekai story, but it seems like it has potential. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
