it does not matter how much false your arguments are as long as you look strong presenting them then most people will say you win

so thoughts?

Sort of, strong or elaborate language is commonly used in debates to assert dominance or display intellectual superiority, and it tends to work.

The entertainment factor is also beneficial, because many people prefer entertaining statements over boring facts.

It is less strong words and more weak people. Also in most cases it is entirely irrelevant anyway, having a thought on an important issue is either following the establishment or to resist and make no headway.

So why even seek the truth? You cant make change with it. So it is ultimately meaningless and irrelevant when millennia of lies is backed up by the establishment.

Not really but there is flaws in human psychology and when you know them it makes you less likely effected as badly.

But in what weird realm would you want to impress everyone? I mean even when I speak publicly, I'm very cautious about what certain people will think, and they usually want to hear and evaluate some arguments, not just blah-blah-blah. That's my expectation of them at least.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I see various presidents and their servants on news to say many strong words, which in time become a complete crap/lie. So no matter how much strong you look presenting them, my reaction: "bla, bla, bla".
But if you provide real current numbers, comparisons, and similar (factual information) instead of empty "strong" words, I'm willing to lend an ear.
I apologize for my mistakes, because it's not my native language.

Partially true, but also it depends how much someone agrees with what you're arguing for. People want reinforcement that they are smart and correct, regardless if that is actually true.

If what you say or argue is false and you win, are you really winning though?

If so, congratulations...

@justmaya

Sadly, yeah, because you can make a bunch of gullible people support you in whatever cause you are pursuing.

Definitely if you can get people to believe/back one person's (or persons) word (even if it's BS) that can very easily become a kind of fact that's stronger than even true physical evidence. That's basically what happened to myself and my family.
