Shame verbal and visual storytelling doesn't go in hand. The letter tells about harsh environment but the village looks like the standard idyllic fantasy setting. No barren lands, no small, poor houses. They can even afford big windows. It actually looks like a nice town. Putting that aside, it's one damn bizarre world where cowgirls exist and people drink their milk just like that. It's kind of disturbing when you start thinking about it... |

Third episode means learning about our third character, glad she's finally getting some more screen time, i was surprised by how little we saw of her up until now. And it seems next episode will be all about the maybe mad, maybe curious gothy mage. Looking forward to getting to know all the characters, as long as they don't get between Celina and Dolan :). I also wanna say i find it really refreshing to properly see more humanoids and "half-beasts" scattered around the world, like the centaur knight and citizens of the capital(?). The wifes milk was one thing, but don't drag their daughter into this, what are they trying to imply there?? |

Well, it's probably not the weirdest shit in anime history, but I wasn't prepared to witness it in this simple and chill fantasy show. |

Well, first of all I'd like to remind the Mr or Mrs 🤣 who explained to us for episode 2, in the forum as that there was a herd of cows, no, no, we had well and truly understood what we saw. And if some people hadn't noticed, this is a fantasy story! There, that's all I had to say. 🤣😂😂 I even see people pulling out search screens from..... but still we're into fantasy. He could tell us the story of flying sheep, it wouldn't make any sense, but that's okay. It's fantasy, that's how they want to tell it. baaaah, that's how they tell it! |

@Chipp12 Right, that was a bizarre scene. I get the fairy peephole but why the hell the first woman put the parchment on the tray for a fairy to bring it to the desk, just to walk over there a moment later. She could as well just do it herself in the first place. It feels like they made the most pointless use of magic just to show she's a high rank witch. |

i get that not all studios can afort a amazing fight scene. but the way the swort was shaking is just bad. a good swordsman doesn't shake his sword like that. again, i don't mind "cheap". but this was eather not thought at well or just not good. the hole Breast milk got weird when it turned into a drinking game. and even weirder when the daughter made some herself. because no mather if your a cow or human, woman only produce milk when there aether pregnant or just had one. the rest of the episode was fine. |

On this week's episode we had one poorly animated fight scene; a 3 minute scene about drinking breast milk; and more snake racism. This show is so utterly baffling to me. Our main Heroine Celina is a cutie pie which is part of what keeps me watching this show, but I spent most of it stoney-faced and bored. At least that was until about 12 minutes into the episode we go to the local pub where apparently the only thing on tap is the breast milk from the demihuman cowperson matron of the bar, Miu. Captain Balan, and magical academy prodigy Christina, have a drinking contest to see who can guzzle down more of the apparently intoxicating breast milk as though it were mead/ale. Christina wins the drinking contest and guard captain Balan is incapacitated. We then cut to our trio of Dolan, Christina, and Celina chatting at the bar when Miu, our triple DDD sporting milk supplier approaches Christina with a request. She asks if she would be willing to taste test something for her. Miu and Balan's teenager daughter, Mir (also a demihuman cowperson) presents Christina with a mug of her own breast milk to taste test. They wanted daddy Balan to try it first but as previously mentioned he is unconscious from drinking too much of his wife's breast milk. Christina chugs Mir's breast milk and compliments her on it's sweet flavour and smooth consistency. Overjoyed, Mir leaps into Christina's arms and hugs and thanks her for complimenting her breast milk. About 5 minutes after this scene I unpaused the stream to continue watching the rest of the episode as I had stopped howling with laughter at this point. This episode made me lactose intolerant. The episode ended with Dolan and Celina being escorted to the capital so that Celina can be interrogated because snake racism. I will be tuning in next week just to see if they some how manage to make the characters drink breast milk again. |

Such a nice, chill and relaxed episode showing the growing sense of warmth and friendship in the village. And then some lamia racism. But why is this chat full of shock about milk? Do any of you know where the milk you drink comes from? Imagine how weird the first person to milk a cow looked to his family? It’s weird to drink milk from a demihuman but not from a farm animal? Yes, I’d be freaking out if I was offered a mug of teenage kid milk too because I’m not conditioned to it, but in a world where it’s normal? Fine. Also, lactose intolerance is in all humans to some degree because cow milk is for calves, not humans. It’s just not compatible with us. Human milk is way milder and less harmful so why do we not have a tradition of milking women? As professionals of course, not farmed. There’s lots of things to think about regarding the morality of milk consumption by adults, least of all which source mammals are ok and which are not. |

I found the whole milk situation hilarious albeit kind of weird too but screw it this is a fantasy anime. Regarding Celina, I think she'll remains safe as she is escorted to the city since Dolan is with her and the cliffhanger ending with Gouda wanting them to exit the carriage is (hopefully) a misunderstanding and Gouda simply needs help with something. |

I’m kinda shocked they’ve left out an entire arc here. Celina, Doran, and Christina go out into the forest after Balan is seriously wounded by a creature that’s not native to this area. I don’t wanna say much more in case they flash back but I don’t know why they would at this point. It’s also one of the reasons Christina is so gung ho about trying to help Celia. We meet a couple other races besides humans and lamia’s as well. Kinda strange they left it out. Those of you who’d be interested I highly recommend checking out the manga. There’s currently 90+ translated chapters. I’ve really enjoyed this one so far and I think this one definitely has a chance to get a season 2 and beyond as it’s a decent story. Just my 2 cents. |

What the fuck is going on with this whole milk business? Are they seriously saying it's Balan's wife who produces the milk herself, not her cows? That's not true right, I mean how would she produce so much of it.. And why do they treat it like it's alcoholic? Really, a contest to see who "can drink more" and "you're quite the drinker" after downing a cup of milk? This is the weirdest shit. |

Nice to see Christina is having a great time in the village. She is quite the accidental ladies women, all the single females there like her one way or another. I was worried about the part where she looked depressed when captain Balan asked some of friends not to run away, something to do with her past perhaps. I am worried about Dolan & Celina, there is a lot of political stuff going on at the moment. |

@Janethan23 Oh worry not, I can't speak for other people, but I never believed the cow-people themselves actually made the milk. Though the fact remains that the show is putting in those innuendoes to make it sound like they are, which i did find a bit odd when they suddenly dragged the daughter into this whole bit. Having a milk chugging competition is a bit wild, but knowing myself i would have joined in if I could, so I can't say much :) |
