I noticed that Masaki is referred to as Tsuma or Okusan, which to my understanding is wife? Is this because of the shows world/society not addressing both partners with the same title or being an Omega/giving birth or Masaki's primary gender identity?
Or are these terms also used for a spouse in general in Japanese?
Just curious to know the background of the words' usage, as I don't know too much about the language and would like to learn :)

I’m pretty sure tsuma means wife, and he probably takes on that role because he exhibits more feminine characteristics in their relationship dynamic.
