| Awesome chapter, it felt worth the wait for sure. It showed off a bit of everyone from the cast this time around. From what i can tell why-man was petrifying mosquitos which i think personally less malaria is a good thing, but I'm excited to see the conclusion and the cliff hanger is making me lose it since at this point they're going to throw something mind blowing out like "byakuya planned it all" knowing this series lmfao. (also what was that one random panel with kohaku and senku) |

| Oh my, this chapter has developed in an unexpected way. From regular, wholesome Dr. Stone stuff to a thriller full of mysteries, lol. And this brilliant cliffhanger. I love this sequel series. It's a shame that the next chapter will be the last one. Like always, the art was great. Many gorgeous looking panels. However, I had an impression that the characters, despite the timeskip, look as young or even younger at times (unless it was intentional, like Senkuu having a teenager's face when remembering Byakuya). It is not a big deal, but I remember the original manga handling the time flow a little better. :P Heck, putting character designs aside, their speed in making crazy huge buildings is insane, lol. Neo-science is great. Space elevator, linear motor car, brand new crafting materials... And we also learned more about details regarding the petrification process itself. Going back to the mystery side of this chapter, it seems that Why-Man orchestrated the whole quest to build the time machine fast and efficiently. Providing the spark to ignite the interest even further (Byakuya's message), hinting various solutions, making the environment perfect for working on inventions required to make the time machine. I don't think there's any ill-intent in Why-Man's actions, though. I think Why-Man just wants to see what humans are capable of, and help them unleash their full potential. Conquering the time surely counts as such. Helping Senkuu, one of the main scientific forces of the revived humanity, is just a byproduct of Why-Man's desire and curiosity. |
