This was a fantastic episode tribute to the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. It's implementation of the real-life 500 TYPE EVA train that was just retired from service in May 2018 was superb.

Also, cameo's by Rei & Asuka - of the original NGE series - and of course, none other than Mr. Shinji Ikari of NGE stardom himself lends a hand to Hayato in this episode. The roles of Shinji, Rei, & Asuka were all voiced by their original NGE VA's also. There is an ANN article link below detailing this episode, if you wish to see more information. **Note - at the time of the ANN article release, only Shinji's original VA had confirmed work on the project; however, since then Rei & Asuka's original VA's have noted they collaborated on it as well.**

That's 2 episodes now, which I will watch later, when I do a rewatch with english subs.

I allready liked the evangelion scenes some episodes earlier; allthough its really obvious that they want to hype the series with that, I have to admit, that it worked very well...
and I'm really happy about that, shinkarion is the best (and nearly only) "childrens" mecha anime for like 10 years now. And its one of the few good railway-anime (together with "tetsuko no tabi" and "hikarian").
