That dog is awesome!
He could help Ryoga a lot on his journeys.
The sole reason I dislike Ryoga is because of how he shamelessly sleeps with Akane in the form of P-chan and takes advantage of her. I don't appreciate how this show keeps reminding me of that. If he didn't have this flaw he'd be a decent character. But since this is a Rumiko Takahashi show, every character is required to be an asshole in one form or another.
Pretty good Ryoga-focused episode. It's not a Sasuke focused-episode like thought (thank God).
Ryoga is delusional to think Akane is secretly in love with him lol. I can see why fans were so upset that it lead Rumiko Takahashi-sensei to write a completely new character just to give him a happy ending in the manga.
This reminds me of a scene from a very early episode. Ryoga seemingly had a flashback of Akane explicitly telling him that she loved Ranma (with tears and all that). It was so dramatic I thought it was an actual scene. But looks like this was just Ryoga's imagination after all. Disappointing.
Pretty decent episode with Ryoga showing his best effort to tell Akane how he feels about her through the letter. Apparently, the white-black dog is the only side character that is actually enjoyable and benefitial to Ranma as he always travels alone. A dog is always good company to take along in a long distance traveling. If not for his constant losing direction to use as a joke, he could be my favorite already.
Probably one of the best episodes in the last leg of the show, I thought it wouldn’t be that interesting at first with this being another Ryoga’s unrequited love story but it turned out to be a very good one thanks to the dog, Black n’ White, his moment with Ryoga at the very end of the episode was very sweet. Yeah Ryoga is going to continue with his delusions but I liked seeing him happy, and it’s interesting to hear that a whole new character was made for Ryoga to have a happy ending in the manga, but really that’s probably the only way for him to have a good ending with how deep rooted his feelings for Akane are, now this has me excited to see if that stuff makes it into the remake.
Oh and also Sasuke was there, he seemed like a random addition but I’ll take hearing more Shigeru Chiba before the show is over lol.
A cute ninja dog appears, I loved him, also a bit is Sasuke's lore, he is from a ninja village, like in Naruto (I've never watched Naruto btw) but long before. Thanks to the dog finally Ryoga confessed to Akane, or that is what he thought, anyway he is happy thinking Akane also loves him. Now Ryoga has a best friend, I wonder if we are going to see that dog again in one of the remaining episodes or in the OVAs, honestly I don't think so but would be great.
