| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty good episode. IIRC, both 009 and Devilman start from a previous arc in their series. FukuJun as 009 is awesome. Loved the Joe and Francoise scenes. :) A new girl joins Akira's class. I just saw a pair of anime tiddy's that I won't be touching. Fight scenes were good. The fated meeting between 009 and Devilman has begun. Roll credits. That last scene with Francoise screaming Joe's name is rushed. Hoping the next episodes get better. OP and ED were good. As expected of Jam Project. |

| I loved it! It was hilarious when Akira just grabbed the moped and threw it in the whatever body of water that is alongwith those goons. It was also funny when Miki grabbed Akira's ear and pulled on it as she was threatening to stop making him lunch if he cuts class again. Poor Akira, speaking of which, I absolutely loved his design. And yes, I love Joe/009's design too! |

| Oof, the fight between 009 and Devilman is as epic as I had imagined. Plus, blood and dismemberment with 009 present? Hell yeah. |
| I haven't seen cyborg or much of devilman before so maybe I am a bit biased to say it didn't really stand out to me that much. The characters, the plot, just seems kind all over the place. With 3 episodes, could be bad. 3/5. Animation and art is good though! |

| dear great gobb, this anime is hecking AMAZING! i say that; just coming out of watching Mazinger Z vs devilman, then all of the things before that one; been watching through the devilman franchise from the OG anime in order-of-release, watched some cyborg 009 maybe 3-5 years ago, as much as i could find at the time, but holy crap mate, this change in quality, pacing, holy heck i am in goddamn love! |
