So knows what cards she holds and draws without seeing them, what's the point of that?
It's exactly the same if she did hold them and looked ....
Also ... Yugi's VA better step up, his bad voice acting is getting really annoying to listen to.

Awww, that last frame of Jonouchi giving the peace sign and his sister in the air was sweet.

They really did edit a number of Mai's cards when they were released in the West, for real, for real lol.

Speaking of Mai, can't believe I used to sleep on her. She's really sexy and feisty. Aaaand a bit bitchy/mean in the beginning lol

I guess she did it to get into her opponents' heads. By being able to play the strongest cards without even noticing, it made her seem more intuitive with the use of her cards than her opponents.

I take it back, this was probably the most boring duel in Duelist Kingdom due to Mai being obnoxious as hell and Jounouchi losing for 95% of the duel until his deus ex machina Time Wizard and Baby Dragon combo gave him the victory. Speaking of that, the real OCG/TCG should've made Time Wizard into a Spell (er, I guess Magic) Card like it was in the manga.

I thought that there's a risk in using that time wizard card with a coin-flip gamble...seems like this show does not necessarily follow the real game rules...

I found it interesting that Mai was using a clever con trick as a duel strategy. Unfortunately she had to lose because... Joey had faith in his cards... or something.

Not sure why Yugi had to use the puzzle to transform? All he did was tell Joey to believe in himself.

Still no explanation on what the millennium puzzle does to Yugi? Does it give him an alter ego with more confidence? So confusing! Will have to push forward to find out.

haha I can't argue with Mai's reasons for dueling ^_^ and damn she had a good "cheat" strategy!
but yep, Joey has the powers of FRIENDSHIP and LOVE, highest powers in all anime
